Join us for one of our final morning hikes of the season! The Ghadira Loop is a captivating journey through the natural beauty and historic fortifications of Northern Malta. We’ll explore a diverse landscape ranging from lush reserves to rugged cliffside paths with some of the most iconic views on the island. This is a beginner-friendly walk led by an experienced guide. We walk at a comfortable pace with plenty of time for historical context, photo stops, and soaking in the Mediterranean panoramas. ✨ What we’ll explore: • Foresta 2000 Reserve: A beautiful stretch of Mediterranean woodland. • The Red Tower (St. Agatha's Tower): An iconic fortification with 360-degree views of Malta, Gozo, and Comino. • Popeye Village Overlook: Stunning cliffside vistas overlooking the famous film set. • Secret Locations: We’ll venture to a few spots known only to locals. • Ghadira Bay: We finish at the sandiest beach in Malta. At Unity of Columbus, our Youth and Family Ministry nurtures the spiritual growth of children and families through love, joy, and practical spiritual teachings. Our program encourages children to discover their own inner light, express kindness, and develop a personal connection with God. The aim of this group is to get together and practice our German. Doesn’t matter if are a beginner or a native speaker. The goal is to speak and improve our German. Everyone is welcome! If the weather is good, look for us in the Biergarten. Pro Tip: Get there before 6:00 for happy hour pricing.

This is an all inclusive event to inform, support and help bring special needs families and the community together. We practice, dance, and enjoy a BYOB bottle of your favorite wine at the Dublin Ballroom off Sawmill, North, and “milonga” is a social event for tango dancing where dancers socialize. A “*practica*” is an informal social event for tango dancing where dancers focus on practicing the dance; while a “*practilonga*” combines the relaxed atmosphere of a “*practica*” with the format of a “milonga.” We are doing it all! ***Cost is $10 payable to the Teacher.*** *Cost is for the cost of the venue and covers some snacks.* We have had fun doing this event in the past. Please arrive promptly as lessons begin at 2pm. Don't worry about bringing a partner as there will be others at the event from outside the group that: a) might have a clue and b) won't step on your toes. The event is BYOB (similar to our Salsa events), so bring your favorite and a wine glass. We will likely find a place for dinner and drinks after the dance.
