Hello All, We've been there a couple of times already, but this time it will be most beautiful, various white, yellow, and blue flowers are blooming in wide parts of the forest. We will meet and start at the "Centre Culturel" in Bergem, which is also the starting point of the "Bergem Autopedestre". https://maps.app.goo.gl/qJkGPk3pkFdvkxv76 There is a parking lot, if you want to come by car, but you can also get there easily by public transport. The terrain is quite flat, just 250m up/down for 15 km, easy also for beginners. Hiking shoes are recommended nevertheless, some parts are known to be a bit slippery or even muddy. After around 10km, we will find a place for the lunch break, about 15-30 minutes, depending on the weather. Current forecast shows some drops of rain before the break, but we will see. **Public Transport:** Bus 611 will leave at 10:40 in front of Luxembourg "Gare Centrale" and will arrive at 11:06 in Bergem, bus stop "Bergem, Centre". We will start the hike right after the bus has arrived. **Carpool:** https://groupcarpool.com/t/to4p7r Please clearly state the place and time of departure, and as a passenger, kindly bring a pair of clean shoes for the return trip. Join us as we get together to get together to help those in need at this CMG Gives Back event! We have a great little community of Movie Group friends so rather than see a movie this time, we’ll help “create a better world” by helping serve those in need. Here are complete details and our plan for this event: FAITH MISSION – GRANT KITCHEN: The Faith Mission kitchen and dining room serves residents 3 meals a day, every day of the year. For this event, our group will help prepare food, serve meals, assist residents in the dining room, wash dishes, and clean surfaces. PLAN: We will be preparing / serving / cleaning for BRUNCH from 10:30am to 12:30pm and have space for a total of 7 volunteers. Please arrive at 10:20am and wear closed-toe shoes and long pants. LOCATION: Faith Mission – Grant Kitchen is located at 245 N. Grant Ave. Enter the kitchen at Dock 1 (in the back of the building), indicated in the attached map. On-site parking in the adjacent lot and street parking is available in the surrounding area.
