intergenerational women's circle Women Who Wonder
intergenerational women's circle Women Who Wonder
**Women Who Wonder — Intergenerational Women's Circle (First Meeting)** Have you ever wondered how other women experience situations? Are you curious to know how women of older and younger generations think? Do you enjoy broadening your horizon? Are you looking for new relationships and conversations beyond small talk? If you are interested to communicate with others and create a beautiful atmosphere, learn the power of listening deeply and want to experience the joy of being seen, heard and witnessed, this is for you. Women Who Wonder is a new intergenerational women's circle for women between 18 and 108 years old. We meet biweekly in Zurich, sitting together in a facilitated circle not to advise, but to share, listen to and witness each other. Are you young and interested to find the wisdom of elders while offering your own? Are you a mother who wants to take a breath away from daily demands and take time for yourself and your needs? Or you have no children and you are curious about other women's experiences? Are you an elder woman who is interested in life and in sharing what you have experienced? **Our first theme: Women Supporting Women** Each woman gets uninterrupted time to speak and can ask for the kind of response she would like from others. There is time to ask me questions, though in this context I am here as facilitator, not as a medical advisor. If you have questions you can ask me and the other women about knowledge and experience. You don't need to prepare anything. Just come as you are. **How it works** We sit in a circle for 90 minutes, facilitated by Dr Barbara Kleeb. To create a safe and confidential space, every attendee signs our circle agreements on arrival. The essentials: we don't interrupt, we are non-judgmental, we don't fix, and we don't sell services. What is shared in the circle stays in the circle. **About me** I'm a gynaecologist and obstetrician with experience from birth to consultation, from hormones to operation. I am interested in many things, have written and recorded songs and created an online networking event for polymaths that lights people up. I feel that it is time for women to support each other, to learn with and from each other across generations. **Practical details** The first three meetings are free. Places are limited to 20 women. Further meetings will be CHF 50 per session. Sponsorship is available on request. An online community for ongoing connection between sessions is coming soon. The circle is held in Swiss German and English. When it's truly heard, your story becomes your wisdom. *** **Location:** *CAFÉ BAR FLOR SEEFELDSTR. 63 8008 ZÜRICH* **Date:** Friday, April 17th 5 to 6.30 pm

Coloring Contest: 2 for 1 Deal!
Ready to relax, get creative, and maybe even win a prize? Join our **Coloring Contest**, a fun and inspiring experience for **everyone** – no matter your age or skill level! This special edition comes with a **2-for-1 deal**, so you can bring a friend, family member, or creative buddy along and enjoy the experience together. Because let’s be honest – coloring is even more fun when shared 😄 During the session, you’ll choose from a selection of carefully designed motifs and bring them to life using high-quality **Ohuhu markers**. Known for their vibrant colors and smooth blending, these markers are perfect for both beginners and experienced creatives. Whether you prefer soft gradients, bold contrasts, or playful color combinations, you’ll have all the tools you need to create something truly unique. **All materials are included**, so you can simply show up and start coloring. No preparation needed – just bring your creativity and good vibes! You’ll have dedicated time to work on your piece and fully immerse yourself in the process. There’s no pressure to be perfect – the goal is to enjoy the moment, experiment with colors, and express your personal style. Some people like to plan their palette carefully, while others jump right in and let intuition guide them. Both approaches are welcome here. To participate in the contest, the main requirement is simple: **finish your coloring** within the session. Once completed, your artwork will be entered into the competition. The winner will be selected based on two criteria: * **Completion** – your artwork must be finished * **Creativity** – originality, color use, and overall expression So don’t worry about being “technically perfect” – what really counts is your unique idea and how you bring it to life. At the end of April, one standout piece will be chosen as the winner 🎉 The **prize is valued between 20 and 69 CHF**, depending on the total number of participants. The more people join, the more exciting the prize becomes! But even if you don’t win, you’ll still leave with your finished artwork and the joy of having created something with your own hands. It’s a perfect way to unwind, try something new, and maybe discover a hidden talent. **Who is this for?** Absolutely everyone! Kids, teens, adults, beginners, and experienced creatives are all welcome. Whether you come solo or take advantage of the 2-for-1 deal with someone special, you’re guaranteed a fun and colorful time. So grab your spot, pick your colors, and let your imagination flow 🌈 Who knows – your artwork might be the one that stands out! We can’t wait to see what you create ✨

Personal branding as the 2nd name
Personal branding as the 2nd name
Hello together 0-10! Life feels more fulfilling when we can double our happiness and reduce our obstacles. It's not about how many - "1234567", it's about how and how much! I’m excited to share this event. Many women define themselves through their careers, while others embrace identities as housewives, mothers, or through their achievements. But identity is personal and evolving—so how do you define yourself? I believe your personal brand is your new title. It reflects who you are, what you stand for, and the value you bring. If you’re ready to explore this journey, I’d love to collaborate with you to shape your story and help you get published in a digital journal and SuccessXL. Let’s build something meaningful together—because strong branding begins with authentic expression. We can meet after, have a discussion, why we need each other? How do you want to see yourself in the mirror and how do you want to be seen by us? Common Sense Fact: Keyliu is a computer scientist, creator, and brand visionary who seamlessly blends technology, creativity, and innovation. She harnesses the power of music, AI-driven tools, and strategic content creation to elevate her brand’s presence, crafting engaging digital experiences that set her work apart in an ever-evolving landscape. She has been living in Zurich for a while. Funny thing about her: She has sweet teeth sometimes. She shares her brand signature donuts with us, like sharing the wing🪽! It gives you "wing" vibe! If she is not working "normal 12"! She works on her "songs&videos" to have her kind of fun with relentless positivity! She enjoyed travel with F1 for a few years, that time was crazy cool partly! (SOME found it was sort of homelessness... well, everyone can have an opinion, but their simple opinion doesn't matter! Throw them basically! Remove negative people is the key to a better life!) That was why she wrote "CAR Racing"! She is very pround of it! Because she created MAGIC from NOTHING through unforgettable experiences. She desired to be a modern Angel with Ferrari. ☺️ Now, it's time to move from "Cinderella" to "Woman Warrior"!

How Lucky by Will Leitch
How Lucky by Will Leitch
Posting this early because seemingly all Sundays in May are holidays or busy! I picked a shorter thriller that's hopefully a fast read/listen. [Columbus library link to book](https://cml.bibliocommons.com/v2/record/S105C3458940) Location: Grandview Cafe, *1455 W. 3rd Ave*, Columbus, OH 43212 [Menu](https://www.grandviewcafe.com/menu) Book summary: Daniel leads a rich life in the university town of Athens, Georgia. He's got a couple close friends, a steady paycheck working for a regional airline, and of course, for a few glorious days each Fall, college football tailgates. He considers himself to be a mostly lucky guy -- despite the fact that he's suffered from a debilitating disease since he was a small child, one that has left him unable to speak or to move without a wheelchair. Largely confined to his home, Daniel spends the hours he's not online communicating with irate air travelers observing his neighborhood from his front porch. One young woman passes by so frequently that spotting her out the window has almost become part of his daily routine. Until the day he's almost sure he sees her being kidnapped.

AI is changing how art is made. But when does it stop being your work and start being the machine’s? This month we're going to be doing a panel with with digital image, music, and written word artists, talking about at what point, while using AI in the creation process, does the work become not the artist creation? We encourage audience participation during this event that will be moderated by Chris Slee. Whether you’re deep in the field or just getting curious, come connect with others building and exploring AI in Columbus. Semi in honor of March being International Women's Month Columbus libraries: [https://cml.bibliocommons.com/v2/record/S105C3454709](https://cml.bibliocommons.com/v2/record/S105C3454709) Location: SOW Plated Menu: [https://www.sowplated.com/menu-brunch/](https://www.sowplated.com/menu-brunch/) Book summary: In 2006 Julia Lerner is living in Moscow, a recent university graduate in computer science, when she's recruited by Russia's largest intelligence agency. By 2018 she's in Silicon Valley as COO of Tangerine, one of America's most famous technology companies. In between her executive management (make offers to promising startups, crush them and copy their features if they refuse); self promotion (check out her latest op-ed in the WSJ, on Work/Life Balance 2.0); and work in gender equality (transfer the most annoying females from her team), she funnels intelligence back to the motherland. But now Russia's asking for more, and Julia's getting nervous. Alice Lu is a first generation Chinese American whose parents are delighted she's working at Tangerine (such a successful company!). Too bad she's slogging away in the lower echelons, recently dumped, and now sharing her expensive two-bedroom apartment with her cousin Cheri, a perennial "founder's girlfriend". One afternoon, while performing a server check, Alice discovers some unusual activity, and now she's burdened with two powerful but distressing suspicions: Tangerine's privacy settings aren't as rigorous as the company claims they are, and the person abusing this loophole might be Julia Lerner herself. The closer Alice gets to Julia, the more Julia questions her own loyalties. Russia may have placed her in the Valley, but she's the one who built her career; isn't she entitled to protect the lifestyle she's earned?
