Llega poco a poco la muy esperada primavera con sus alergias y actuaciones hormonales… Existe un fantástico rincón en la cara norte del Cadí que se llena cada abril del así llamado azafrán de primavera, para crear junto con las escarpadas murallas de la sierra una de las postales más gloriosas de toda la Cerdanya. Este increíble prado situado a 1.826 m de altitud es el testimonio de una herencia glaciar que dejó atrás un cúmulo de sedimentos propicios para la biodiversidad. Iremos a descubrir el Prat de Cadí espaldado por un espectacular anfiteatro mineral y sus cimas: Costa Cabirolera, la Roca Verda, el canal de Cristall, la roca del Ordiguer… Después del diálogo con la inmensidad, hay la opcion de ir a conocer una formatgeria de montaña, sus cabras y descubrir cómo es la vida en una granja a 1600 metros de altitud. Y, por supuesto, lo mejor para el final: una mini cata de quesos que sabe aún mejor después de la aventura. Join us for a tour of Brothers Drake Meadery in Grandview, hosted by the owner Oron Benary. He will explain the mead-making process and offer us generous samples of their fine meads. Mead is basically wine that is made from honey instead of grapes. There are many different flavors that range from dry, semi-dry, semi-sweet, to sweet. They are best known for their Apple Pie Mead. Oron has offered us a special price of 5.00 each person for the tour and tasting, which is normally 25.00 per person. I've taken the tour several times, and it's always enlightening and fun. Rebecca will bring a tea that will pair well with the mead for a tea tasting afterwards. Park anywhere around the building. Please avoid parking in front of the houses in the neighborhood behind the Meadery. Please keep your RSVP current. Knowing how many will attend will help Brothers Drake plan accordingly to accommodate us.

Whether you’re deep into embedded systems, exploring new ideas, or just getting started, you’ll find a welcoming space to collaborate, share, and get inspired. **New to electronics or curious about tinkering?** You’re absolutely welcome. If you’re a beginner and want to experiment, I’ll have a couple of starter kits available so you can try things out—whether that’s blinking your first LED, putting something on a display, or experimenting with simple sensors. No pressure and no experience required—just an interest in learning and building. While we continue to pursue a more permanent venue for this Meetup, we’ll be using public library facilities based on availability.
