Beginners will be guided through the process using techniques such as slab building, coiling, pinching, texturing and surface decoration. The more advanced will be free to create and those with experience throwing would be welcomed to use the wheel which would need to be reserved in advance. Those of you who would like to learn about glazing would need to book 2 workshops. The workshops are mainly run in English but I do speak Catalan and Spanish. They also provide a great opportunity for non-native speakers to practice their English. The symbolism of these patterns carries deep, ancient meaning, which you will learn about during the workshop while creating your own unique design. This Saturday at 16:00 we invite you to sit together by candlelight and slowly, meditatively decorate several eggs using this centuries-old technique.
