On se rencontre chaque mercredi pour parler français. Parmi nous, il y a des gens qui ont le français comme langue maternelle, et des gens qui aiment le français et le maîtrisent plus ou moins. On aime discuter et parler de tout et de rien, et on est toujours content de recevoir des gens qui sont de passage ou des nouvelles personnes qui veulent écouter, parler, pratiquer ou poser des questions. Cette semaine, on retourne au Café Merkur, Café sympa et calme avec une cuisine de mediteranée orientale. La table est toujours gérée d'une façon très libre et relaxée, on se rencontre et on parle aux autres participants et participantes autour de nous. NOTE: Si vous comptez venir, inscrivez-vous s'il vous plaît, pour qu'on puisse prévoir assez (mais pas trop non plus) d'espace au restaurant. Comme ça, on sera à l'aise et l'endroit qui nous accueille aussi. On commence à 18h30 , mais ce n'est pas un problème de rejoindre après. Normalement, il y a au moins une dizaine de personnes qui vient aux rencontres. Cette rencontre est aussi annoncée sur notre groupe facebook ("Vienna French Meetings") A mercredi alors!

After a short introduction we will walk around the 4 iconic buildings, then make our way to Ostbahnsteg, where a view over Donaukanal awaits. At the end of the walk everyone is welcome to join for a warm drink at a nearby cafe. The event is free of charge but will be limited to max 10 people as it is meant as an opportunity to connect, and the park is the perfect location for losing parts of a group. Für diese erste Leserunde schlage ich das Buch **„Ostblockherz“ von Didi Drobna** vor (ca. 180 Seiten). Der Roman berührt Themen wie Familie, Migration, Herkunft und die manchmal schwierige Beziehung zwischen Eltern und Kindern. Wenn Interesse besteht, können wir die Leserunde gerne gelegentlich wiederholen. Für zukünftige Bücher können wir dann auch gemeinsam Vorschläge sammeln. Hi everyone, This is a relaxed morning coffee and German conversation meetup for English speakers (any level) learning **German at A2/B1 level.** We meet on **Saturdays** from 10:00 to 12:00 at Café Zuckergoscherl at Rochusmarkt in Vienna’s 3rd district for coffee, **conversation**, and regular speaking practice in a friendly small-group setting. The meetup is aimed at people who are around **A2 to early B1** and want to **build confidence** speaking **German** in a comfortable, low-pressure environment. It’s ideal for learners who are no longer complete beginners but are not yet advanced. I’m from South Africa and have been living in Vienna for 8 years. This meetup is especially for people at a stage bus with A2 or B1 and who want consistent speaking practice.
