J'ai découvert Practical Philosophy au Canada et j'ai tellement aimé que j'ai décidé de l'importer à Paris (il y a aussi une branche à Lyon si vous n'êtes pas de la région). **🏛️ C’EST QUOI, LA PRACTICAL PHILOSOPHY ?** Practical philosophy, c’est un rendez-vous hebdomadaire où des esprits curieux se retrouvent pour creuser un sujet, affûter leur façon de s’exprimer et tisser des liens. Pas besoin d’être un pro de la philo pour participer, tout le monde est le bienvenu ! 😎 L’idée, c’est que la philosophie, ce n’est pas juste pour les profs d’université. Chaque semaine, on choisit un thème et on en discute pour aiguiser notre esprit critique et nos talents de communicants. C'est aussi une manière d'apprendre à mieux se connaître soi-même, en affirmant et argmumentant ce qu'on pense réellement. Notre meet-up réunit une fois par semaine anglophiles et francophiles de plus de cinquante ans afin de discuter de tout et de rien. Le but est d'offrir la possibilité aux uns et aux autres de pratiquer la langue dans laquelle ils souhaiteraient se perfectionner dans un cadre convivial. Nos directives sont de s'amuser et de respecter les différents points de vue et antécédents personnels. Our meet-up group meets once a week. We are English and French speakers of a "certain age" (over 50), and we meet to talk about everything and nothing. The goal is to offer each of us the chance to practice whichever language he/she is learning, or just to have a conversation in either language with a friendly group in a relaxing atmosphere. Our guidelines are to have fun and to be respectful of different points of view and personal backgrounds. Insulting or disparaging other members because of their personal background is not permitted. Our meet-up ends promptly at 6pm. If you wish to remain after 6 pm, please move to a different section of the café so it is clear to management that the meet-up has ended. **The Data-Driven Brand: Using Analytics to Shape Perception** Can you use analytics to improve tacos? This being CBUSDAW, we think the answer is probably “yes”, but we’re not sure how to implement or test this theory. For our April meetup we’ve got Sara Kear, CMO of Condado Tacos, to investigate this delicious question. Sara will explore how she blends quantitative data and qualitative customer feedback to shape brand positioning and drive business decisions. We all know that marketing and analytics go way beyond attribution. Sara will show how Condado uses customer insights to inform product and pricing strategy. She’ll also highlight how Condado leverages customer feedback at scale to influence operational priorities, positioning marketing as the voice of the customer across the organization. In the last 12 years Condado has gone from one location in Columbus to 52 locations across 10 states, so we’re guessing there’s more to that growth than really good guac (though the guac probably helps).
