Bonjour à tous.tes ! Je m'appelle Emma, je suis l'organisatrice Practical Philosophy Paris :) Practical Philosophy est un mouvement né au Mexique et qui est présent partout dans le monde aujourd'hui. J'ai découvert Practical Philosophy au Canada et j'ai tellement aimé que j'ai décidé de l'importer à Paris (il y a aussi une branche à Lyon si vous n'êtes pas de la région). **🏛️ C’EST QUOI, LA PRACTICAL PHILOSOPHY ?** Practical philosophy, c’est un rendez-vous hebdomadaire où des esprits curieux se retrouvent pour creuser un sujet, affûter leur façon de s’exprimer et tisser des liens. Pas besoin d’être un pro de la philo pour participer, tout le monde est le bienvenu ! 😎 L’idée, c’est que la philosophie, ce n’est pas juste pour les profs d’université. Chaque semaine, on choisit un thème et on en discute pour aiguiser notre esprit critique et nos talents de communicants. C'est aussi une manière d'apprendre à mieux se connaître soi-même, en affirmant et argmumentant ce qu'on pense réellement. Bref, on bosse sur trois piliers : **Pensée Critique**, **Communication** et **Communauté** 🙌. **📓 COMMENT ÇA MARCHE ?** Chaque semaine, on se focalise sur un sujet qu’on décortique ensemble. Les thèmes sont très variés et toutes les suggestions sont prises en compte (la beauté, la richesse, la loyauté...) The Humanist Monthly Program is our longest running event and still a community favorite. In the old days it used to be called "Going to HCCO" and we still like to think of it as our flagship event. We will be hearing from Becca Powell, Director of Advocacy and Outreach at Unchained At Last, an organization whose mission is dedication to ending forced and child marriage in the United States through direct services and systems change.
