The Imposing complex of Government Buildings on Upper Merrion Street was the last major public building the British constructed in Ireland. It was intended as accommodation for the Royal College of Science. Fortuitously, it was completed by 1922. When Independance dawned, the New Free State Government moved in. Former Taoiseach Charlie Haughy converted and entirely refurbished the building to form state-of-the-art accommodation for a number of departments including the Department of the Taoiseach, the Department of Finance and the Office of the Attorney General. Tours of Government Buildings may be cancelled at short notice if they have visiting dignitaries etc. Tickets may be obtained from the National Gallery at the onsite coffee shop where the guide sets up a small table. Tickets are free but on a first come first served basis. We need to be there for 9.30am to ensure a ticket. Once we have our tickets, the guide will accompany us to Government Buildings.

• What we'll do About us: The Tibetan Dharma and Meditation Group is part of a Buddhist organisation based in Taiwan, which is centred on one of the greatest living rinpoches (teachers) in the world at the moment. It aims to introduce people living in Ireland to Buddhist teachings and practices that have been passed to Rinpoche through his masters and their masters going back many, many generations in order to benefit and bring peace to all sentient beings. A WiA Collective Wisdom Exchange At the start of this year, we gathered to look back, set intentions, and imagine the next chapter. This is the follow-up. Not a check-in. Not a progress report. A small, facilitated circle to reconnect with what you said mattered — and honestly explore what’s actually happening now. Together, we’ll explore: • What you intended at the start of this year - and what that looks like three months in • What’s surprised you, supported you, or shifted • What the next chapter needs now that you know what you know If you were at our January gathering, bring whatever you made or wrote — your word, your artifact, your intention. We’ll look at it with fresh eyes. If this is your first time, you belong here too. You’ll start where we all started: with what’s true right now.
