🏳️‍🌈 A four-week Balboa dance course for beginners for April 2026. No prior experience required. This is a special LGBTQ+ course, but everyone is welcome. It is a partnered social dance where you improvise whole dances with your dance partner(s), suitable for mid to fast tempos. **We will be teaching everybody both how to lead and how to follow**, but feel free to stick to a role you feel more comfortable with or want to focus on. **What to wear** Comfortable clothes, glamour optional ✨ **No partner required** Just bring yourself – we will be changing partners every few minutes, so you get to dance with everybody. However, if you come with someone and you would like to dance just with them and nobody else, that is no problem! **Location** We will be in the Oval, a beautiful side hall of the Pillar Room, situated in the Rotunda Hospital. You will be provided directions once you are registered for the course.

About us: The Tibetan Dharma and Meditation Group is part of a Buddhist organisation based in Taiwan, which is centred on one of the greatest living Rinpoches (teachers) in the world at the moment. This is a place to draw from a real life model, we provide art materials and drawing boards so you can just drop in and draw. It is an unthought class, all skill levels are welcome. You will find beginners, artists, animators and a mix of professions all enjoying the chance to practice drawing from a nude model.

Join us for a cycle out to Glencullen and back. 🚨Warning: this cycle has a steep/long climb. 🚨Please have back and front lights on your bike for this cycle. The total distance is 30km, but it has 450m of climbing taken on all at once. We do not go fast up the climb, we go as slow as needed. Here is our plan for the evening: 1️⃣We leave at 5:30PM from The Yellow House in Rathfarnum. Note that we meet acroos the road from The Yellow House by the church. 2️⃣We cycle South to where we'll climb up to Glencullen via R116. Note that due to subsided road, we have to make a detour up military road. 3️⃣If time allows, we'll make a stop at the blue light pub for a break 4️⃣After break, we'll head back to city centre. This is a short evening route with a fair bit of climbing with some great views throughout the ride. Jugger is a fast paced but easy to pick up sport that is great for beginners. Its like a combination of tag rugby and fencing and is a great way to meet new people and then hit them with a padded stick. Its light contact and the only gear you need to bring is clothing you are comfortable running around in and some water.
