James Connolly stands as one of the defining figures of Irish socialism, republicanism, and the trade union movement. We only Want the Earth draws extensively on Connolly's own words to paint a vivid, intimate picture of the man behind the principles, placing his radical politics and accomplishments in conversation with the struggles fcing the world today. This documentary also explores Connolly's piviotal involvement in the 1916 Easter Rising. The film is further enriched by performances of songs and poetry from the following: Christy Moore, Stephen Rea, and Connollys great-great-granddaughter Tamsin Iona Connolly Heron. Q&A: with the film makers and Des Geraghty, the former President of SIPTU. If you are on the going list, there is a ticket for you. I booked a max of 14 tickets. Explore Hollywood Forest Loop in County Wicklow. * Meeting Point : Connolly Station, Dublin. * When: 12:10 PM, Friday, 24th of April. * Arriving : 13:35 PM to Hollywood, Wicklow. We will be meeting at Dublin Connolly Train Station for 12:10 PM (Inside the train station beside Pret A Manger), Waiting time 8 Minutes After the 8 minutes of waiting we will be walking outside and walking to Connolly Station Bus Stop (Stop Number 135121). It is beside the Luas Stop We will be taking the 132 Tullow Bus which is scheduled for 12:30 PM (Bus Eireann). Bus Duration, 1 Hour and 5 Minutes (3 Stops), Connolly, Tallaght and Blessington. Arriving in Hollywood, Wicklow at 13:35 PM, it is a 6 minute walk to the starting point of the trail. There is a coffee shop in Hollywood called Hollywood Cafe, there is indoor and outdoor seating and a toilet. Trail Loop (Moderate) 5.3 KM, Duration 1 in a half to 2 hours. **Discaimer** We have to be back to the Hollywood Bus Stop for 15:21 becuase that is the only Bus returning to Dublin at Customs House Quay 16:26 PM. This is an in-person meeting. Did you know that unwanted emotions like loneliness, sadness, hopelessness, anger, fear, anxiety, or feelings of irritation don’t just fall on you for no reason. They are not random occurrences that simply happen to people's minds. They are definitely not chemical imbalance in your brain due to some nebulous chemical reactions by chance. Your negative emotions are the symptoms of the painful experiences that you have which are not healed, and which are still affecting you. The effects of these painful experiences are exacerbated by the pressures or difficulties of the other problems in your life. For instance, let's say you are already carrying a huge load on your back, then you cannot take on much more, but, let's say something else happens to you, such as the difficulties from the Pandemic, then the resultant combined weight on you can take you over the edge, kind of like the straw that break the camel's back. When this happens, people's attention usually goes to the straw that was added, but actually the majority of the weight had come from the huge load that were already there, holding a person down and causing a person issues. So how do you remove the huge load that was already there? How do you lighten them up? Is it possible to get rid of them? That is what this meeting will be all about.
