Γίνετε μέλος της ομάδας Δωρεάν Μαθημάτων Αγγλικών στη Λευκωσία για μια συναρπαστική εκδήλωση ανταλλαγής γλωσσών και κοινωνικής δικτύωσης! Αυτή η εκδήλωση είναι ιδανική για μαθητές Αγγλικών ως Δεύτερης Γλώσσας (ESL) που θέλουν να βελτιώσουν τις γλωσσικές τους δεξιότητες ενώ παράλληλα κάνουν νέους διεθνείς φίλους. Είτε θέλετε να βελτιώσετε τις γλωσσικές σας δεξιότητες για καθημερινή επικοινωνία είτε για συγκεκριμένους σκοπούς, όπως εξετάσεις ή συνεντεύξεις εργασίας, σας καλύπτουμε. Είμαστε μια μικρή ομάδα Χριστιανών που προσφέρουμε δωρεάν μαθήματα Αγγλικών σε όποιον θέλει να εξασκήσει, να αναπτύξει και να ενισχύσει τις αγγλικές του δεξιότητες. Θα συναντιόμαστε σε μια δωρεάν τοποθεσία κάθε εβδομάδα για να κάνουμε το μάθημα και θα χρησιμοποιούμε ένα βιβλίο ασκήσεων με θέματα συζήτησης από τα βιβλία του Λουκά και των Πράξεων για να βοηθήσουμε τις συζητήσεις μας. Άτομα οποιουδήποτε υπόβαθρου, εθνικότητας, φύλου, φυλής κ.λπ. είναι ευπρόσδεκτα! Το υλικό είναι μοναδικό επειδή δεν έχει σχεδιαστεί για χρήση στην τάξη, αλλά για ατομικές συζητήσεις. Θα χρησιμοποιήσουμε αυτό το υλικό για να ενθαρρύνουμε τις συζητήσεις μας. Πιστεύουμε ότι μια φιλική σχέση και η ανταλλαγή προσωπικών γνώσεων συμβάλλουν σημαντικά στη βελτίωση των γλωσσικών δεξιοτήτων. Όταν μιλάμε για ιδέες που είναι σημαντικές για εμάς, προσπαθούμε περισσότερο να επικοινωνήσουμε με σαφήνεια και καταβάλλουμε μεγαλύτερη προσπάθεια να κατανοήσουμε τι λέει το άλλο άτομο. Εδώ έγκειται η επιτυχία της προσέγγισης και των πόρων και η συνεχής αξία τους στην εκμάθηση γλωσσών. Αυτό ΔΕΝ είναι ένα διαπιστευμένο μάθημα. Οι καθηγητές στα Δωρεάν Μαθήματα Αγγλικών είναι εθελοντές Χριστιανοί. Δεν μπορούμε να εγγυηθούμε ότι όλοι οι καθηγητές έχουν προσόντα εκπαίδευσης δασκάλων. Τα μαθήματα προορίζονται για αρχάριους (επίπεδα CEF A2 & A3) και μεσαίου επιπέδου (επίπεδο CEF B1) μαθητές και στοχεύουν μόνο στην παροχή πρόσθετης υποστήριξης στην αγγλική γλώσσα - δεν προορίζονται να αποτελέσουν ένα πλήρες μάθημα διδασκαλίας αγγλικών ή να αντικαταστήσουν ένα μάθημα σε μια σχολή ξένων γλωσσών. Οι ομάδες βασικού επιπέδου επικεντρώνονται κυρίως στην καθημερινή ομιλούμενη γλώσσα. Οι ομάδες μεσαίου επιπέδου χρησιμοποιούν κυρίως επεξηγηματικά κείμενα που περιγράφουν ή εξηγούν πράγματα. Περιλαμβάνουμε επίσης αφηγηματικά κείμενα κατά καιρούς. Θα αξιοποιήσετε στο έπακρο τα μαθήματα αν έρχεστε τακτικά, κρατάτε σημειώσεις για το σπίτι κάθε εβδομάδα και επαναλαμβάνετε όσα έχετε μάθει. Κατά την άφιξή σας, θα σας ζητηθεί να καταχωρήσετε το όνομα και τα στοιχεία επικοινωνίας σας αποκλειστικά για σκοπούς επικοινωνίας και θα υπόκειστε στον Νόμο 125(I)/2018. Περιστασιακά τραβάμε φωτογραφίες και βίντεο κατά τη διάρκεια των Δωρεάν Μαθημάτων Αγγλικών τόσο για ψηφιακή όσο και για έντυπη διαφήμιση και μάρκετινγκ, όπως φυλλάδια και μέσα κοινωνικής δικτύωσης. Εάν δεν θέλετε να βρίσκεστε σε φωτογραφίες ή βίντεο, παρακαλούμε ενημερώστε ένα μέλος της ομάδας κατά την άφιξή σας. Παρόλο που θα προσπαθήσουμε να διατηρήσουμε τη συνοχή της μικρής ομάδας, ενδέχεται να αλλάξει ανάλογα με τη διαθεσιμότητα των καθηγητών. Τα Δωρεάν Μαθήματα Αγγλικών δεν είναι πιστοποιημένο μάθημα Αγγλικών. Όλο το διδακτικό υλικό και τα φύλλα εργασίας προστατεύονται από πνευματικά δικαιώματα και δεν επιτρέπεται η αναπαραγωγή τους. Τα Δωρεάν Μαθήματα Αγγλικών θα πραγματοποιούνται δύο φορές την εβδομάδα. Ελπίζουμε ότι μία ή και οι δύο ημέρες θα ταιριάζουν στο πρόγραμμά σας, αλλά κατανοούμε ότι μπορεί να μην λειτουργεί για όλους. Join the Nicosia Free English Classes group for an exciting language exchange and social networking event! This event is perfect for English as a Second Language (ESL) learners who want to improve their language skills while making new international friends. Welcome to Nicosia Free English Classes! Whether you want to improve your language skills for everyday communication or have specific purposes like exams or job interviews, we have you covered. We are a small group of Christians who offer free English classes to anyone wanting to practice, grow, and strengthen his or her English skills. We will meet at a free location each week to have the class, and we will use a workbook with conversation prompts from the books of Luke and Acts to aid our conversations. People of any background, nationality, gender, race, etc. are welcome! The materials are unique because they are not designed for classroom use, but instead for individual conversations. We will be using this material to prompt our conversations. We believe that a friendly relationship and the exchange of personal insights contribute significantly to improving language skills. When we talk about ideas that are important to us, we try harder to communicate clearly, and we make a greater effort to understand what the other person is saying. Here lies the success of the approach and resources and their continued value in language learning. This is NOT an accredited course. Teachers at Free English Classes are volunteer Christians. We are unable to guarantee that all teachers have teacher training qualifications. The lessons are intended for beginner (CEF levels A2 & A3) and intermediate (CEF level B1) level learners; and only aim to provide additional English language support - they are not meant to be a complete course of English teaching or to replace a course in a language school. Basic-level groups focus mainly on everyday spoken language. Intermediate groups use mostly expository texts which describe or explain things. We also include narrative texts from time to time. You will get the most out of the lessons if you come regularly, take home notes each week and revise what you have learnt. Upon arrival, you will be required to register your name and contact details solely for communication purposes, and will be subject to Law 125(I)/2018. We occasionally take photos and videos during Free English Classes for both digital and print publicity and marketing such as flyers and social media. If you do not want to be in any photos or videos, please let a team member know on arrival. Although we will attempt to keep the consistency of the small group, it may be subject to change depending on the availability of teachers. Free English Classes is not a certified English course. All teaching materials and worksheets are protected by copyright and must not be reproduced. Free English Classes will occur twice weekly. We hope that one or both days will fit in your schedule, but we understand that it may not work for everyone. Greetings writers! Come down and join your fellow wordsmiths for one hour of uninterrupted writing time in the upper level of the Market District Supermarket in Upper Arlington. The main entrance of the shopping center opens onto stairs/elevator leading up to the 2nd floor cafe section where we will have a table displaying a sign with the Shut Up & Write logo. Writing is largely a solitary craft. Practicing with others in a community setting may be the thing you need to fire your own routine. We’ll meet on Wednesday evenings, starting the clock at 6:30, following a brief period of introductions. This is solid writing time and all inclusive. Any project is acceptable, be it fiction, non -fiction, work or homework assignment. All is welcome and will remain private to you. The market boasts a Starbucks, a full service bar and various affordable food options. Parking is plentiful, free Wifi is provided as well as outlets for charging your devices, though they are somewhat limited, so plan accordingly. Show up as early as you like, or stay late. This group tends to socialize some, both before and after the alloted time, but this is not mandatory to you. Feel free to come and go as you please and late arrivals are welcome. The cafe may be noisy on occasion so headphones/ earbuds are reccommended as you see fit. Please try to RSVP if possible so that we may grab enough seats for all—the venue can be busy at times.
