Full Lifecycle AI Software Teams Meetup
Full Lifecycle AI Software Teams Meetup
Register Here - https://luma.com/closedloop.ai The Full Lifecycle AI Software Teams Meetup is a monthly gathering for engineers, product managers, designers, QA, technical leaders, and founders building AI-first software teams. This meetup focuses on the practical realities of agentic software delivery: * how teams coordinate work across humans and agents * how planning and execution change in an AI-first workflow * how engineering organizations measure performance in the agentic era * how teams manage context, review quality, and operational cost as AI usage scales This month we’ll cover two topics: **Beyond DORA: The New Metrics for AC/DC (Agentic Coding Delivery Cycle)** DORA metrics still matter, but they do not fully capture what happens when agents are planning, coding, reviewing, and executing work in parallel. We’ll discuss: * new KPIs for agentic engineering workflows * review burden and coordination overhead * context reuse and shared visibility * cost per validated change * how engineering leaders and ICs should think about performance in an agentic world **Are You Ready for Metered Token Billing on June 15?** As headless sessions and agent workflows move toward usage-based economics, teams need to think differently about token spend, execution efficiency, and operational discipline. We’ll discuss: * how startups should think about token economics * the operational implications of metered agent workflows * balancing speed, quality, and cost * what “cost-effective” agentic development actually looks like This meetup is technical, candid, and practitioner-focused. No generic “AI changes everything” takes. Just real discussions from people actively building AI-first software teams.
Wells Branch Trail
Wells Branch Trail
Let's hike Wells Branch Trail and walk for 1.5 hours for a total of 4.3 miles. This greenbelt trail is a well-maintained, mostly flat gravel path -- no hiking boots required, but do use your best judgment. Along the way, we’ll pass through several underground tunnels and cross a couple of streets without dedicated pedestrian lights, so we’ll pause to regroup and cross safely together. The trail is mostly shaded and passes through several parks, some with path lighting. Please bring at least 2 liters of water. Well-behaved dogs are welcome on the trail! Here is some more info located below: https://wellsbranchmud.com/parks-a-recreation/trails-1 http://www.texashiking.com/Locations/ShowLocation.aspx?LocationID=1812 If you need to contact me, my phone number is 281-876-7746. We’ll meet at the Lake of Wells Branch sign on Mallard Green Ln -- there’s plenty of street parking available at that spot. If your GPS routes you to Mills Pond park entrance instead, there’s a small parking lot there with limited spaces. It’s just a short walk from the Lake of Wells Branch meeting point, so feel free to park there if that’s more convenient. Please note that this is event also posted on **[I love Austin, but I need some f*****g friends!](https://www.meetup.com/i-love-austin-but-i-need-some-f-g-friends/)** NOTE: In the event of bad weather, I will issue a cancellation notice at least one hour prior to the event's start time. Please note meetup has had a massive increase in price and has nearly doubled the fee to organize clubs. If you like the club and want to donate, you can pay Kevin by Venmo [here](https://venmo.com/u/Kevin-Coe-9). Finally, we recommend that you review information on the trail and that you come prepared for the hike (e.g., bring at least two liters of water, wear appropriate footwear such as hiking boots, and a brimmed hat.) All attendees are solely responsible for their own health and safety. By RSVPing for this event, you are agreeing that you are taking sole responsibility for your own health and safety and, if any, your guests' health and safety. If you or your guests are not willing or are unable to take responsibility for your own health and safety, do not RSVP for this event.

Join us for a peaceful, healing, mostly silent walk
**UPDATE + info about the walk** Check here for updates in the event of potential bad weather, or if I have to cancel due to a personal issue. Basically, if it's not snowing, raining heavily and without lightening/thunder, we're probably still on. But always make your choice based on your needs and preferences. * It's great to RSVP so we know if you may be on your way. **Peaceful, healing, mostly silent walk in Walnut Creek Park near Parmer and N Lamar.** The opportunity is to slow down and connect with the generous residents of this amazing forest, and discover greater kindness, space and open curiosity within. **\* Current schedule** is 7AM Tuesdays and Saturdays. Check the event page for cancellations.
**\* Meet at Walnut Creek Park, 12138 N. Lamar Blvd · Austin,** at the paved trailhead off the first parking lot as your driving into the park from Parmer on Willow Wild. **\* Look for me:** I'm 5'7", have glasses, often carry a wooden cane, and have white hair that's either being its wild self or pulled up/back in some sort of twist. **\* Inclement weather policy:** If the forecast includes active or likely lightening or heavy downpour, then stay safe at home. I'll update the specific event page in those instances. **\* All levels of walkers are welcome.** The pace tends towards easy rather than speedy, and always accommodates whoever joins and the energy of the moment. **\* Mobility:** We spend most of our time on paved trails, and occasionally walk on generally smooth dirt trails. If you use a walker or need to bring a stroller, bring it on! We'll happily make it work. These walks are free, and I very much appreciate contributions. Zelle 3233213061 Venmo @lvp-432; last4 3061 Binoculars, sketchbooks and cameras are welcome. Stopping for photos or to make a note on my phone is just part of it. As is the energy healing that just flows in forests. Additionally as a Reiki practitioner, I'm in constant energy exchange with the forest throughout our walks. This healing energy is available to any who want it, and you can internally choose to accept that energy, or not. \*If you're interested in reading suggestions and other supporting information of interest about Reiki, forests and how they communicate, how the terpenes help our human bodies, etc., check out my ***Walnut Creek Healing newsletter on Substack.*** **Indemnity and Hold Harmless Notification** As a participant, you agree that, by participating in these walks, it's assumed that you've read and agreed de facto to the following: \* Reiki is not a medical treatment, and cannot replace any medical treatment or my doctor's recommendations. \* You are fully responsible for your own well-being and indemnify and hold harmless the event organizer and other group members. \* Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult who assumes full responsibility for the minor and also indemnifies and holds harmless the event organizer and other group members. \* Unaccompanied minors will not be allowed to participate in these events. Valid ID may be required as proof of age. \* You understand that this is an outdoors event, and as a participant you may experience exertion and environmental factors such as heat, rain, wind, cold, etc. You may also encounter uneven surfaces, wasps, ants, low-hanging branches, animals including dogs owned by other walkers not part of our group, and other hazards. By participating in the event, you accept these and other risks consistent with the setting and environment and thereby indemnify and hold the event organizer and other participants harmless. \* You understand that, by participating, it is assumed that you have read and agreed to these Indemnification and Hold Harmless clauses. P.S. Right now we meet only at Walnut Creek Park, the Lamar/Parmer trailheads. If you have suggestions of other Austin-area parks to enjoy and support, let me know.

Climate Action Happy Hour, ABGB 5/31
Climate Action Happy Hour, ABGB 5/31
CCL newbies and old friends are welcome alike at our climate happy hours. Join us in May at one of our favorite venues, AGBG. There is a good food truck there and plenty of both indoor/outdoor seating, and parking! CCL advocates for non-partisan climate action for everyday people. We're a friendly bunch that warmly welcomes old friends and newcomers alike. The CCL happy hours are a great way to get oriented to our mission and meet other members in a more casual setting than the monthly chapter meetings (which are already very casual!) We'll catch-up, have some serious climate conversations, and suggest actions. Good food, good drink, good people. Look for the CCL t-shirts and probably a 🌎 sign.

Lake Georgetown Camping Weekend
Lake Georgetown Camping Weekend
Hey Landbounder! Join us for a camping weekend at Lake Georgetown. Good food, good company, and nothing but open skies. Leave the city behind and come hang with the crew. **General Plan** **Friday, May 1** Arrive around 3 PM (or whenever works for you), set up camp, grill, hang out. **Saturday, May 2** More of the same. Hikes nearby if you're into that, otherwise just camp life. Grill again Saturday night. **Sunday, May 3** Pack out around noon and head home. **Cost** **$30 per person**, covers the full stay (May 1st-3rd). Parking is not included. You're responsible for any parking fees on your end. Payment details will be sent after your RSVP is confirmed. **Who's Invited** This is a closed event. You're good if I've interacted with you before, or someone already RSVP'd can vouch for you. No prior connection and no voucher means no approval. RSVP if you're interested. I'll follow up to confirm your spot. **FAQ** **How many people can come?** The campsite holds 6. Spots are first come, first served by RSVP. **What's the RSVP deadline?** Tuesday April 28 by 3 PM. No exceptions. Nobody joins after that cutoff, even if spots are still open. **Can I bring a +1?** Not by default. If spots remain after the RSVP window closes, those may open for +1s. Don't assume until I confirm. **What if more than 8 people want to go?** If demand is high enough, additional campsites are possible. Overflow costs split among whoever needs them. **Is the $30 refundable?** No. If you pay and can't make it, a couple of options: • Sell or gift your spot to someone I've already met • Consider it a donation to Landbound. It goes toward making the group better If the event is cancelled on my end, you'll receive a full refund.

In Person Event: The Secrets to Mental Health
In Person Event: The Secrets to Mental Health
Mental Health, how do you understand it? How can you improve it? How do you get rid of stress, anxiety and uncertainty? These emotions are buried deep in your reactive mind. Find out what the reactive mind is, and in the process find yourself. Have you ever suffered from a traumatic experience, a deep loss or been through a painful breakup? Has your ability to communicate suffered as a result? And after that, even though you "moved on" did you find that things were never quite the same? Have you ever looked at childhood photos, or reminisced your early life and wondered where that happiness and spark went? Are your emotions out of your own control? Have you ever felt, even if you aren’t aware of it, that possibly you are getting in your own way of your happiness and success? How does this affect your self-confidence? Find out what is at the root of all stress, anxiety, depression and self-doubt. Find out how and why you hold yourself back from achieving your goals and having the life you have dreamed of. As soon as you learn what is at the root of these unwanted conditions, you’ll see it is something you can DO something about. You will not be labeled or categorized at this MeetUp. This group is hosted by the Dianetics and Scientology Life Improvement Center of Central Ohio.
