ABOUT THE EVENT This Happy Hour is devoted to professionals in the Green, Sustainable Energy and Environment; to grow, interact, and learn from each other. It is designed to provide a professional environment to meet other professionals to broaden one's career. It is also for those interested in careers in the sector and are studying or intend to enter the dynamic world of green movement. HOW IT WORKS : We will try to assign Breakout Rooms for each represented INDUSTRIES AND SPECIALIZATIONS; and will direct attendees to their respective breakout rooms accordingly. All are welcome! However we don't guarantee the availability of a partner in that particular experience, you would like to exchange. Space is limited and advance ticket purchase is required. NOTES : 1. Come the whole time or if you just spend 30 minutes. All are welcome. You are welcome and encouraged to bring your own coloring supplies but, if you don't have any, I will have plenty and am happy to share! (coloring books, colored pencils, and markers). Part of the mission of this group is to provide us an opportunity to check out AND SUPPORT local businesses. Weekly Draft night in NW. We currently meet up at Franklin Hall near 14th and Florida. U Street Metro is the closest stop. I'll have packs but feel free to bring packs if you have them. Entry is $17 (you can bring Play Booster packs to lower the cost by $3.50). If it is a special set, it will be more.

Come join the Arlington Jaycees outside in the spring weather at Theodore Roosevelt Island! The island provides several flat, beginner friendly hiking (more like walking) trails around a beautiful nature preserve, and includes several monuments and historical markers to see along the way. Come on by to meet new friends, meet the Jaycees, mingle, and maybe even learn something about old Teddy himself. We will plan to meet at the entrance of the Roslyn Metro at 11am. From there it's about a 15 minute walk to the start of the trails across the pedestrian bridge/bike path. If you plan to drive, there is a parking lot available next to the trailhead that you can meet us at. We'll plan to spend about 2 hours there and then return to Roslyn for lunch! If you show up late or are having trouble finding us, feel free to message us directly in the chat or post in the comments and we will respond asap.
