Hi Everyone! This time we are going to hike around Erkner, which is east of Berlin. We are meeting on Sunday, April 19th '26, at 11:05 am at the Ostkreuz Station, platform 1, and taking the next RE1 to Erkner. From there we will walk around Wupatz Lake (Wupatzsee), cross the Löcknitz Island (Löcknitzinsel), go through forests and fields to Karutzsee and Karutzhöhe (a residential area) from there to Heim Gottesschutz (residential area), and making a big curve around Bretterscher Graben and fields around it, we will come back to Erkner (it’s round tip). The hike is 12,5 km long, it should take us approx. 3h. You will need an ABC ticket for the train and please take enough water, refreshments and food if you want. We will make a short break at some point to eat and drink. I’ll have a pink cap on so look out for a pink cap on a tall man, I will stand next to escalators. I’m organising a co-working + socialising session for all of us who like to work on something (e.g. our own project, freelance or remote work) but don't feel like sitting alone at home. 🙂 To ensure that we have both **socialising** AND **working**, we will be using the so called “Pomodoro” technique: **50min of deep work** (silent), followed by **10min of break** to socialise.
