**Please be aware - this is not a class. It's a practice for people who learn to dance.** Take your time to practice Salsa with your friends and friendly faces. We will adjust the music to the students that come - but generally, we will keep the music on the easy dancing side. After the practica (about 75 minutes), if people are interested, we will head to one of the bars nearby for a get-together. In diesem Kurs beschäftigen wir uns mit verschiedenen Texten aus unterschiedlichen Bereichen. Das können u.a. kurze Geschichten, Gedichte, Zeitungsartikel, Kolumnen oder Videos sein. Immer sind es Themen, die uns gefallen, die wir besonders interessant, wichtig oder manchmal auch richtig schlecht finden. Gemeinsam versuchen wir die Position der Autor*in, den Stil und die Argumentationsstruktur zu verstehen. Dazu diskutieren wir über das, was wir verstehen, welche Meinung wir zu dem Thema haben oder welche Fragen offen bleiben.
Gerne könnt ihr uns auch Themenvorschläge mitbringen oder zuschicken.
Der Kurs richtet sich an interessierte Menschen mit einem B2-Niveau (oder so ähnlich), die Lust haben sich weiter mit der deutschen Sprache zu beschäftigen und ihren Wortschatz zu erweitern.

I would like to share some new things I have discovered about the history of the Filipino community in Berlin. Charlottenburg is a vibrant hub for the Filipino community in Berlin. Every Sunday at 3:30pm, you can attend holy mass in Filipino at the Heilig-Geist-Kirche (Holy Spirit Church) on Bayernallee 28. Just a short distance away, Pinoy—the city’s oldest Filipino restaurant, owned by Rosalinda Nolasco-Jecht at Danckelmannstr. 49—serves traditional home-cooked dishes like *Sinigang* and *Adobo*. To support the Filipino community, I would like to promote an upcoming event. On April 11, Pinoy will host a special event, Kain Tayo Day, featuring Filipino street food from 12:00–4:30pm, followed by a special *Kamayan* Dinner from 5:30–7:00pm.
