Gezeigt werden Werke aus dem reichen Bestand an Schweizer Handzeichnungen des 18. und 19. Jahrhunderts, darunter Aquarelle, Gouachen, Studien und wissenschaftlich geprägte Darstellungen der Alpen. Die Ausstellung zeigt, wie das Bild der Schweiz um 1800 geprägt wurde – mit Gletschern, Gebirgslandschaften und dramatischen Naturmotiven, die auch heute noch stark wirken. Bei gutem Wetter können wir stattdessen aber auch draussen zeichnen, beispielsweise auf der Polyterrasse mit einem Blick über die Altstadt. END OF UPDATE As the weather is set to turn properly cold and unpleasant again, we are postponing our next meetup by one week to the Easter weekend. And since the first Sunday of the month falls on Easter Sunday this time, we will meet on Saturday instead. That works out rather well, because the Graphische Sammlung at ETH Zurich is opening an intriguing new exhibition: “Glaciers & Rapids. Drawn Switzerland around 1800.” It presents works from its rich holdings of 18th and 19th century Swiss drawings, including watercolours, gouaches, studies and scientifically informed depictions of the Alps. The exhibition explores how the visual image of Switzerland was shaped around 1800, through glaciers, mountain scenery and dramatic natural subjects that still resonate today. For sketchers, this promises compelling lines, tonal values, compositions and the question of how landscape can be staged through drawing. If the weather is fine, however, we can also draw outdoors instead, for example on the Polyterrasse with a view over the old town. In any case, we’ll meet indoors in front of the entrance to the Graphic Collection exhibition. Welcome to the **Task-Buddies** event of the **Zürich Productivity Circle**, where we bring together like-minded individuals to work on personal goals and share the experience of growth in a supportive community. **Complex Trauma Support Group** Our group is intended for survivors of complex trauma. If you are here, it’s likely that so much of who you are and what you have experienced in this life is actually invisible to most people––to family, society, coworkers, and the people who are around you. We are a peer-led group of survivors creating opportunities for ourselves and others to share our experiences, share support, and build relationships in kind community together. Survivor experiences might include: child sexual abuse, incest, child trafficking, and other experiences of people living with traumatic dissociation and complex PTSD. **What to expect at your first meeting:** Currently, we are offering a bi-monthly in person group at 2:00pm on the first and third Sunday of the month. The only criterion for joining the group is that you are a survivor of trauma wishing to have more kindness in your own life and share kindness with others, and that you agree to practice to group’s relational agreements available for view here: https://www.kindgroups.com/agreements. Joining the group is free of charge. We ask that new people connect with us for 30 minutes on the phone or on zoom before coming to their first group, so that we can determine together that we are a good fit. This session introduces Squad: an open-source framework for multi-agent orchestration that lets you define teams of AI agents with specific roles, responsibilities, and expertise. We'll progress from Copilot basics to the Copilot CLI, explore how Agents add autonomy, and see how Instructions and Skills let you customize agent behavior. Then, the climax: a live demo where a Squad team of 3 agents (Lead, Developer, Tester) stands up and builds a working application in real-time, showcasing true multi-agent collaboration.
