Bouldering is like a whole body puzzle! And if you never tried we would be happy to have you join us! And the best part is...it's fun and challenging at every level. It is Rock climbing without the ropes, but with lower heights and nice \*soft mats\* to break your fall. :) At Boulderlounge Schlieren we have many routes and skilled staff. We are usually a group of 10-15. And we usually meet at 19:00 at the entrance of Boulderlouge. Some come earlier and some later, but either way write in the chat (see below) and someone will be there to find you and welcome you! Be looking for Ana or Marco. Let’s start our Thursday with a relaxed outdoor walk together with dogs 🐕🌲 This is a weekly, easy-paced morning walk in Leimbach area, perfect to get some fresh air before work and let the dogs move and sniff in nature. If it’s rainy, we keep it short and stay on the flat paths.

There are two big fields in Affoltern, just a few minutes away from the Zehntehnhausplatz bus station/Affoltern train station. Far away enough from the forest edge to not have problems with the leash requirements. We can start with the field behind the row of houses on Holderbachweg, and see if we should move on to the bigger field, a 2min walk away. The forest itself is close enough that we could extend to a leashed walk.

Let’s walk the gardens and enjoy what has spring has on display.

Over time I'm hoping to organize a hike to all the Franklin County Metro Parks. This is the first one so if you're interested jump in! We'll start with the Canopy Walk, a cool feature of this park. Climb 100 stairs to the top - or take the elevator if stairs aren't your thing. At the top there are a bunch of things to play on - a rope bridge, a fireman pole that we can slide down - and more! About fifteen minutes there and we'll head to the natural trail, Buttonbush, Maple and Beech Trail for 2.2 miles then do a 1.7 mile loop on the paved Greenway Trail. We'll be passing our cars as we transition if you only want to do the first loop, or the second loop. Pace of around 3.5 mph but no one left behind. If there is an interest we can grab lunch nearby afterward.

Join us for a two mile trail hike alongside the Brookside Trail at Blendon Woods Metro Park. This trail is largely gravel and does include some hills and stairs. Hopefully we will see some wildlife while hike this scenic trail! Join us!

Meet at Wolfe Park parking lot by tennis courts. We willl walk along Alum Creek trail, through Jeffrey Mansion Park then along Bexley neighborhood and back. Optional lunch at Trolley District.
