Join us for an engaging class where you’ll learn simple, safe, and effective methods to preserve your spring harvest so you can enjoy those fresh flavors all year long. From freezing and drying to other easy techniques, we’ll cover practical tips you can use at home. We’re excited to be teaming up with Michigan State University Extension to provide research-based guidance and expert advice to help you preserve with confidence. Whether you’re new to food preservation or looking to expand your skills, this class is perfect for you! Short North Street Skates return Saturday, April 4 and we’re excited to get back rolling together. These weekly rollouts are a chance to move through the city as a group, build community, and create more visibility for skating and small-wheeled movement in Columbus. Details: Meet: 1160 N High St 9:30 AM meet 10:00 AM rollout All wheels welcome We’ll be skating through the Short North and surrounding areas at a steady, social pace. Routes will use a mix of streets and bike lanes, so comfort navigating the city is helpful, but you don’t need to be an expert. If you’ve been meaning to come out, this is a great place to start. Come solo or bring a friend!

We'll hike 3.4 miles on the Killdeer and Yellowlegs Trails - both out and back gravel trails. If we want more mileage we can repeat an out and back. Pace of around 3.5 mph, no one left behind and those who want to go faster sure can! As always optional lunch after. This is the second Metro Park in the lineup for me - with 21 to go (plus more are being added).
