¡Hola a todos! 😊 Nos reunimos para disfrutar del Sechseläuten y la tradicional quema del Böögg este 20 de abril en Zúrich. 🌸 ¿Qué es el Sechseläuten? Es una fiesta tradicional que marca la llegada de la primavera y tiene sus orígenes en el siglo XVI, cuando en Zúrich se cambiaba el horario de trabajo y las campanas sonaban a las 6 de la tarde para indicar el inicio de la jornada de verano. Con el tiempo, esta tradición se combinó con antiguos rituales populares en los que se quemaban figuras (los “Böögg”) para despedir el invierno. 🔥 Hoy en día, el Böögg —un muñeco en forma de muñeco de nieve lleno de fuegos artificiales— se quema como símbolo del fin del invierno. Según la tradición, cuanto más rápido explota su cabeza, ¡mejor será el verano! 🎭 ¿Qué vamos a ver? Primero veremos el final del desfile de los gremios (Zünfte): cientos de participantes con trajes históricos, caballos, música y carrozas desfilan por la ciudad hasta llegar a la plaza principal (Bellevue). Brazilian percussionist **Gabriel Lopes** returns to Zürich for a special weekend of samba with Zurich School of Samba. The weekend opens with a **Pagode / Roda de Samba workshop** on Friday evening, followed by two days of **Samba Enredo workshops** on Saturday and Sunday. Participants will explore the musical language of **Rio de Janeiro samba schools**, playing together in a full bateria and developing groove, listening and ensemble balance. The Saturday and Sunday workshops form a **two day musical progression**, building towards the full energy of playing together in a samba school style bateria. Open to all levels. We’ll begin with a short grounding moment, followed by a brief reading from spiritual or philosophical traditions, and an open reflection circle where participants can share (or simply listen). Libera Animae is an interfaith community focused on inner growth, creativity, and authentic connection. All backgrounds are welcome.

Bring your business cards and brochures to share with us. We have a speaker each week so that we can learn about their business. Because we have only one member per business, we have many of the spots filled. However, we are specifically looking for an estate attorney, a handyman/electrician, and an event planner. We worship the GOD that LOVES US! We understand that god is an energy and it lives in us as us.
