**CLASS CANCELED TOMORROW, THE 22ND APRIL 2026, DUE TO TUBE STRIKE** Script Reading, Improvisation, Voice Projection, Games, Public Speaking and audition techniques will be some of the points covered over the coming terms. Drama is ideal for building confidence, helping with articulation and developing presentation skills. It is also a lot of fun! The classes have built up over the last five years and are run by Mario Renzullo, who was an original member of the famed Anna Scher Theatre and made his professional debut in 1970, and went on to have many lead TV, film and theatre roles. Mario founded the theatrical agency Smart Management, which has been running for over twenty years. The classes are open to a wide age range and welcome those new to acting as well as those with professional acting experience. Typically, between 12 and 20 people join us each week, creating a lively and engaging group dynamic. Venue: The Angel Church, Chadwell Street EC1R 1XA Five minutes’ walk from the Angel tube station. How a Typical Astrodrama Session Works 1. A protagonist (the person whose chart is being explored) or the group chooses a focus (e.g., a specific transit, a relationship dynamic, or the whole natal chart). 1. Participants are assigned roles- e.g., one person is Mars in Scorpio in the 7th house, another is the Moon in Cancer, etc. 1. They improvise interactions - Planets “talk” to each other, move around a space (sometimes laid out like a horoscope wheel), express emotions, and create scenes. 1. The protagonist watches, directs, or joins in- often gaining powerful insights into their inner dynamics as they see their chart “performed.” 1. Debrief - Everyone shares what they felt in their role, revealing hidden patterns or unconscious material.

Singers: Bring along lyrics. Guitarist / Bassist: Bring along your instrument. Drummers: Drum kit and sticks are provided. Keys/piano players: Keyboard is provided. # **Considerations** 1. Jammers should come prepared for the songs they have chosen on the spreadsheet. 2. No shows or cancellations up to a week before the Jam will not be refunded. Ask the organizer for a refund if you cancel before then. 3. Spreadsheet: maximum 5 song nominations per person. Put your name on the 'Nominated By' column. 4. Guitarists: there will be a rig setup for each amp you will all be using this jig. We will plan ahead and agree who is bringing what pedal for the day. 5. Jammers doing very few songs will go on the waitlist. The cost is £12 pre-pay for the day, fees all go towards running The Jam.

We support the runners doing the London Marathon. It's a fun day out drumming. You can find us outside the Shadwell Centre. We meet at 9am to collect drums from the cars. The location on the cars will be shared with members. We then set up and stay in the same spot all day. You are welcome to come and go as you please. It's a good chance to improve or try a different drum.
