We also had 9 year old participants who finished with non-zero score, so rest assured that you will also hit something - and the know-it-alls were not bored either. We'll review the rules in detail during the intro, it's the standard pub quiz procedure - each table is a team and receives a piece of paper on which to write the answers and hand it over at the end of the round. In addition to exercising our brains and having fun, the Church wants to provide us with a little motivation to be more interested in the future of our civilization and to be more active in guiding it. We want the future of the world to be decided more by thinking people, like those gathered here, than by our traditional moral authorities. The boom in AI technologies is an occasion to rethink some social values, and we believe that Pastafarians deserve a place around the table more than our bearded colleagues.

The Forge does have a full bar and kitchen. There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~$20 per person. Soft drink refills are $1 each. Please support our hosts so we can continue to provide great events for the group! The Forge has a large library of games available for us to enjoy. Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play. Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630. Please promptly end your games and clear out the space at 10pm when the bar closes. We encourage socializing but do not permit disruptive behavior of any kind.
