A lovely cycle along the South Coast,with its stunning coastal views. Distance 45 Km, mostly flat but a steep climb over Killiney Hill. We hug the coast most of the way, through Blackrock park and on mostly cycleways to Dún Laoghaire; then over Killiney Hill where we stop for coffee ☕. Then it is back to the city through the village of Dalkey meeting up with the outbound route and back to city centre. Here is our plan for the day. 1️⃣We leave the Convention Centre at 9 am. 2️⃣ Cycle out to Killiney where we stop for coffee 3️⃣ We then cycle back by a slightly different route, we should be back in the city by 1 pm Please wear a helmet and bring a tube etc in case you get a puncture. Please note - It is every participant's responsibility to ride safely, follow the rules of the road, and come prepared with the proper equipment. Hi all, lets meet at 12h to play Beach Volleyball in BullIsland, near the car park on the "Statue of Our Lady, Star Of The Sea" side of BullIsland. From Clontarf Rd cross over "The Wooden Bridge" and keep going on until the end, turn left when you see the beach car park and keep going to the left. We will set the nets beside the car park 😉 Please avoid to park at the beach because the car can get stuck on the sand. If you come by car park as soon as you find space and then walk. The idea is to have lunch at the beach and play beach volleyball. Please bring water, sun glasses (for the sand more than the sun) and sun cream (even when it's cloudy you can still get burned with the wind). I would love to create another lovely healthy group to have fun with and enjoy the weather whenever it's possible. All levels are welcome because the goal is to have fun and do some exercise.
