Είτε θέλετε να βελτιώσετε τις γλωσσικές σας δεξιότητες για καθημερινή επικοινωνία είτε για συγκεκριμένους σκοπούς, όπως εξετάσεις ή συνεντεύξεις εργασίας, σας καλύπτουμε. Είμαστε μια μικρή ομάδα Χριστιανών που προσφέρουμε δωρεάν μαθήματα Αγγλικών σε όποιον θέλει να εξασκήσει, να αναπτύξει και να ενισχύσει τις αγγλικές του δεξιότητες. Θα συναντιόμαστε σε μια δωρεάν τοποθεσία κάθε εβδομάδα για να κάνουμε το μάθημα και θα χρησιμοποιούμε ένα βιβλίο ασκήσεων με θέματα συζήτησης από τα βιβλία του Λουκά και των Πράξεων για να βοηθήσουμε τις συζητήσεις μας. Άτομα οποιουδήποτε υπόβαθρου, εθνικότητας, φύλου, φυλής κ.λπ. είναι ευπρόσδεκτα! Το υλικό είναι μοναδικό επειδή δεν έχει σχεδιαστεί για χρήση στην τάξη, αλλά για ατομικές συζητήσεις. Θα χρησιμοποιήσουμε αυτό το υλικό για να ενθαρρύνουμε τις συζητήσεις μας. Πιστεύουμε ότι μια φιλική σχέση και η ανταλλαγή προσωπικών γνώσεων συμβάλλουν σημαντικά στη βελτίωση των γλωσσικών δεξιοτήτων. Όταν μιλάμε για ιδέες που είναι σημαντικές για εμάς, προσπαθούμε περισσότερο να επικοινωνήσουμε με σαφήνεια και καταβάλλουμε μεγαλύτερη προσπάθεια να κατανοήσουμε τι λέει το άλλο άτομο. Εδώ έγκειται η επιτυχία της προσέγγισης και των πόρων και η συνεχής αξία τους στην εκμάθηση γλωσσών. Αυτό ΔΕΝ είναι ένα διαπιστευμένο μάθημα. Οι καθηγητές στα Δωρεάν Μαθήματα Αγγλικών είναι εθελοντές Χριστιανοί. Δεν μπορούμε να εγγυηθούμε ότι όλοι οι καθηγητές έχουν προσόντα εκπαίδευσης δασκάλων. Τα μαθήματα προορίζονται για αρχάριους (επίπεδα CEF A2 & A3) και μεσαίου επιπέδου (επίπεδο CEF B1) μαθητές και στοχεύουν μόνο στην παροχή πρόσθετης υποστήριξης στην αγγλική γλώσσα - δεν προορίζονται να αποτελέσουν ένα πλήρες μάθημα διδασκαλίας αγγλικών ή να αντικαταστήσουν ένα μάθημα σε μια σχολή ξένων γλωσσών. Οι ομάδες βασικού επιπέδου επικεντρώνονται κυρίως στην καθημερινή ομιλούμενη γλώσσα. Οι ομάδες μεσαίου επιπέδου χρησιμοποιούν κυρίως επεξηγηματικά κείμενα που περιγράφουν ή εξηγούν πράγματα. Περιλαμβάνουμε επίσης αφηγηματικά κείμενα κατά καιρούς. Θα αξιοποιήσετε στο έπακρο τα μαθήματα αν έρχεστε τακτικά, κρατάτε σημειώσεις για το σπίτι κάθε εβδομάδα και επαναλαμβάνετε όσα έχετε μάθει. Κατά την άφιξή σας, θα σας ζητηθεί να καταχωρήσετε το όνομα και τα στοιχεία επικοινωνίας σας αποκλειστικά για σκοπούς επικοινωνίας και θα υπόκειστε στον Νόμο 125(I)/2018. Περιστασιακά τραβάμε φωτογραφίες και βίντεο κατά τη διάρκεια των Δωρεάν Μαθημάτων Αγγλικών τόσο για ψηφιακή όσο και για έντυπη διαφήμιση και μάρκετινγκ, όπως φυλλάδια και μέσα κοινωνικής δικτύωσης. Εάν δεν θέλετε να βρίσκεστε σε φωτογραφίες ή βίντεο, παρακαλούμε ενημερώστε ένα μέλος της ομάδας κατά την άφιξή σας. Παρόλο που θα προσπαθήσουμε να διατηρήσουμε τη συνοχή της μικρής ομάδας, ενδέχεται να αλλάξει ανάλογα με τη διαθεσιμότητα των καθηγητών. Τα Δωρεάν Μαθήματα Αγγλικών δεν είναι πιστοποιημένο μάθημα Αγγλικών. Όλο το διδακτικό υλικό και τα φύλλα εργασίας προστατεύονται από πνευματικά δικαιώματα και δεν επιτρέπεται η αναπαραγωγή τους. Τα Δωρεάν Μαθήματα Αγγλικών θα πραγματοποιούνται δύο φορές την εβδομάδα. Ελπίζουμε ότι μία ή και οι δύο ημέρες θα ταιριάζουν στο πρόγραμμά σας, αλλά κατανοούμε ότι μπορεί να μην λειτουργεί για όλους. Join the Nicosia Free English Classes group for an exciting language exchange and social networking event! This event is perfect for English as a Second Language (ESL) learners who want to improve their language skills while making new international friends. Welcome to Nicosia Free English Classes! Whether you want to improve your language skills for everyday communication or have specific purposes like exams or job interviews, we have you covered. We are a small group of Christians who offer free English classes to anyone wanting to practice, grow, and strengthen his or her English skills. We will meet at a free location each week to have the class, and we will use a workbook with conversation prompts from the books of Luke and Acts to aid our conversations. People of any background, nationality, gender, race, etc. are welcome! The materials are unique because they are not designed for classroom use, but instead for individual conversations. We will be using this material to prompt our conversations. We believe that a friendly relationship and the exchange of personal insights contribute significantly to improving language skills. When we talk about ideas that are important to us, we try harder to communicate clearly, and we make a greater effort to understand what the other person is saying. Here lies the success of the approach and resources and their continued value in language learning. This is NOT an accredited course. Teachers at Free English Classes are volunteer Christians. We are unable to guarantee that all teachers have teacher training qualifications. The lessons are intended for beginner (CEF levels A2 & A3) and intermediate (CEF level B1) level learners; and only aim to provide additional English language support - they are not meant to be a complete course of English teaching or to replace a course in a language school. Basic-level groups focus mainly on everyday spoken language. Intermediate groups use mostly expository texts which describe or explain things. We also include narrative texts from time to time. You will get the most out of the lessons if you come regularly, take home notes each week and revise what you have learnt. Upon arrival, you will be required to register your name and contact details solely for communication purposes, and will be subject to Law 125(I)/2018. We occasionally take photos and videos during Free English Classes for both digital and print publicity and marketing such as flyers and social media. If you do not want to be in any photos or videos, please let a team member know on arrival. Although we will attempt to keep the consistency of the small group, it may be subject to change depending on the availability of teachers. Free English Classes is not a certified English course. All teaching materials and worksheets are protected by copyright and must not be reproduced. Free English Classes will occur twice weekly. We hope that one or both days will fit in your schedule, but we understand that it may not work for everyone. We have never until now featured Zinfandel, the ubiquitous California grape with the Dublin Wine MeetUp Group. At its best Zinfandel, is rich, voluptuous, with great depth of red and blue fruits. Jammy and hedonistic are common descriptions Each person should bring one bottle of an quality Zinfandel wine; be creative and quality conscious, with some bottle age if possible. Turley, Martinelli, Biale, Seghesio, Ridge, Hartford Bedrock, Carlisle, Klinker Brick, Frog's Leap, and anything from the Rockpile vineyard is likely to be very good to great. The Prisoner wines began as a Zinfandel blend. Also bring a protein based appetizer to share and **a wine glass for your personal use.** Cheese and meats are best with these wines. There will be a gas grill behind the clubhouse to grill. We’ll gather at the Oak Creek clubhouse, where the Dublin Wine Group, hosted by Thom and supported by Timothy, will take it from there. Come join us for a fantastic mix of great wine, food, and even better company! We practice, dance, and enjoy a BYOB bottle of your favorite wine at the Dublin Ballroom off Sawmill, North, and “milonga” is a social event for tango dancing where dancers socialize. A “*practica*” is an informal social event for tango dancing where dancers focus on practicing the dance; while a “*practilonga*” combines the relaxed atmosphere of a “*practica*” with the format of a “milonga.” We are doing it all! ***Cost is $10 payable to the Teacher.*** *Cost is for the cost of the venue and covers some snacks.* We have had fun doing this event in the past. Please arrive promptly as lessons begin at 2pm. Don't worry about bringing a partner as there will be others at the event from outside the group that: a) might have a clue and b) won't step on your toes. The event is BYOB (similar to our Salsa events), so bring your favorite and a wine glass. We will likely find a place for dinner and drinks after the dance.

**In an unprecedented effort** to cram WAY too much FUN into one single night this is a **wine tasting** (*sample 4 wines*) / **Kentucky Derby** celebration (*wear your fancy derby hat that you literally cannot wear anywhere else*)/ and **New Members** Night. But mostly THIS IS "***New Members Night***." If you are one of the many folks on the fence about coming to your first wine tasting with the *Hilliard Wine Club*, this is the night to come. There will be many other new people, so you won't be alone. And the regulars will be there to help make you feel welcome. We're a relaxed and warm group. We hope to see you. **SIDE NOTE:** New members are welcome to ALL our Friday night wine tastings, but this night is a special overture to those who don't want to feel that they are the only new person in the room. **Comedy Night + Open Mic + Freestyle**: Tristan Shae and friends return to entertain us and to warm the group up for our open mic session. February's Open Mic / Comedy Night was a smash hit and it's worth a second night. We'll start with Tristan Shae and a couple of his friends. Tristan is an alternative comic from Columbus, Ohio. A counselor by day, Tristan explores how comedy can improve mental health by telling jokes and stories that muse on how absurd life can be from squeaky clean topics to not so clean ones. Tristan produces the variety show Cheaper Than Therapy, hosts the weekly Problem Child Alt Comedy Open Mic at The Attic, and can be found engaging in all sorts of silliness around the city from stand up shows at The Nest Theater, The Attic, or The Funny Bone, to improv and sketch shows with various groups at various venues such as The Hashtag Comedy Club. **On Freestyle night** \- just bring a bottle to share\. There is NO formal wine tasting like on other weeks\. Door charge is $10 \(cash or Venmo only please\)\. We may have some left over wines to clear out\! Glasses are provided\. Take Care\.
