**Come out and enjoy live music, food, and fun at Lakeline Park! Bring your lawn chair or share a blanket and relax by the lake while enjoying free live entertainment** **Deets from park and rec with some Heather advice sprinkled in:** **There will be food and beverage trucks available starting at 6:30, and the concert starts at 7. There will also be yard games, bubbles and other “kids” activities (that I may or may not also enjoy) and there are some other things as well. Feel free to bring your outdoor activity of choice as appropriate. I have brought my “big” camera, some people bring balls, etc. Maybe I will bring some sort of creative activity to share. We’ll see what Heather feels like on the occasion.** **Dog friendly, inclusive activity.** **I will attempt to arrive by 6 to pick a group spot. I tend to sit farther from the stage to reduce the volume a little bit. Feel free to come and go as necessary. I will hopefully remember to bring both of my picnic blankets which I am happy to share. Austin's LGBTQ & Allies Community Heart Circle is something that has been a part of Austin for over 30 years. The group has always had a spiritual focus, and invites LGBTQ folks of all ages and allies to participate in this moderated discussion group. Cost = FREE (First UU Church of Austin underwrites our expenses)

Casual open play pickleball for all levels, including beginners. Equipment: You will need to purchase a paddle, or you can rent one from the front desk. We play with “outdoor” balls. Usually our group has some but it’s a good idea to bring them just in case. I highly recommend wearing a good quality court shoe and comfortable athletic wear. Max of 32 people (via Apex link). Cost is $12 per person ($10.80 for Apex members). Apex is an indoor facility with a pro shop and restaurant/bar on site. You do not need to be a member to play. If you are new to pickleball or need a refresher, we typically dedicate one of the courts for learning. Experienced players rotate in to help you learn the game rules and scoring. It's official, submissions for "Resistance, Resilience, Utopia" are are on their way from being independent pieces to becoming the second volume of gINKgo. This year we are going to have a launch party at Birdie Books on May 15th from 6-8pm open to the whole community!
