**Join us for a swim at Stadtbad Tiergarten Pool (near Hauptbahnhof)!** Hey everyone, We are doing a casual non-professional swim. It's an indoor heated (+26°C) pool, and I'd love for you to join us! We'll be gathering for a casual chill 30-minute swim. No need to race or compete, just enjoy the water and calm after completing the swim. This Sunday we’ll meet again in Volkspark Prenzlauer Berg for an afternoon of Chinese tea, quiet outdoor meditation, and relaxed community time. This workshop is highly recommended for anyone wishing to visit our project on a regular basis, or to attend one of our workshops. This experience will not only help you navigate within the we.are.village community, but it will also equip you to carry these values into your life. Being aware of your boundaries and expressing your consent or non-consent are essential skills in life, but we don’t often get a chance to actually practice consent skills in the same way we practice other skills, like singing, playing sports or learning a language. Consent is about much more than a simple yes or no. When we deconstruct consent, we discover how to communicate our true desires and stop choosing the things we actually don’t want. Through discussion, movement and partner games, we will build tools to express and negotiate physical desires and set boundaries through the use of practical exercises. This workshop is inclusive and welcoming to individuals of all body sizes, genders, and background. This is a non-sexual workshop, and great, low pressure situation in which to practice communication and touching. It’s as much about how to truly say yes and mean it as it is about saying no! This is a very large and amazing space that we are now calling home. On May 24th we will be hosting a collaborative event with both the Go Mental Film Festival and Voices with Impact. It will be a night of mental health focused short films that have received funding from Voices with Impact. Grant Director Chris Hyde will be on hand to explain how the funding works and give more information about the organization. There will be an in-depth Q&A that will allow you to understand how you can receive their funding to help make a short film based on the subject of mental health. As fellow film organizations that support both independent film and a great cause we are happy to lend our support to them.

The Carnival of Cultures (Karneval der Kulturen) is Berlin at its absolute best—vibrant, diverse, and filled with kinetic energy. As the festival reaches its main day on Sunday, May 25th, The ISO Club is heading to Friedrichshain to capture the ultimate finale of this incredible celebration. We are meeting at 13:30 PM at Frankfurter Allee (a concrete meeting location will be provided soon) to document the music, the street styles, the crowds, and the closing energy of the 30th anniversary of the carnival.
