This is a support group for those who have survived an abusive relationship with a parent or caretaker and need support. In 2012, I stumbled upon a Dr. Phil episode quite accidentally and figured it out. My mother was and is a narcissist. What was wrong with me took a lot longer to figure out but over time, I have pieced together that my tendency to over book myself, my contact need to overachieve educationally, financially and socially, my near obsessive need to organize and my co-dependency is all tied into how I was raised.
