The Williamson County Art Guild is hosting a paint out for the Art Stroll festival, and they have invited us to participate! Come out and paint anywhere on or around the square in downtown Georgetown from 4-7 p.m. At 7:00, meet up at the Art Guild Gallery located at 708 S. Rock St., Georgetown for an informal showing to see what everyone has created! There will be art shows, vendors, live music, demonstrations and so much more happening in Georgetown during this event. I hope to see you there!

All ages tango is an all-level tango class characterized by its inclusive approach. We have advanced dancers who have studied for years, and also brand new beginners who start at any time and are always welcomed. We have people with disabilities and without. Dancers of ALL ages are encouraged to come—we don’t card! Register here: https://www.esquinatango.org/classes-2/ This class is donation based. Default amount is $10; when proceeding with booking there will be different options for donation tiers in Step 2. You must pre-register to ensure a spot. Maximum capacity of 20 students. Class is indoors and masks are required. No partner is needed and partner rotation is at will (those coming with a partner are not required to change partners). For partners, both people MUST make a reservation under their INDIVIDUAL name. You cannot make a reservation for two people, so make sure your partner also signs up. If you want to purchase the class for your partner, you are welcome to do that!

We meet to learn and practice American Sign Language and to grow our familiarity with Deaf culture. Facilitated by hearing folks (with a connection to a professional interpreter) using Deaf-created content. People of all ASL skill levels are welcome! As we learn, we hope to connect more with the Deaf community in Central Ohio. Join us as you're able! Come regularly or just once - whatever you're looking for! Each meetup will explore different topics related to ASL/Deaf culture, and will feature time to practice conversation with one another. Just bring yourself and a willingness to learn!

This month we’ll be reading Assassin’s Apprentice by Robin Hobb. Feel free to come even if you don’t finish the book!

We practice, dance, and enjoy a BYOB bottle of your favorite wine at the Dublin Ballroom off Sawmill, North, and “milonga” is a social event for tango dancing where dancers socialize. A “*practica*” is an informal social event for tango dancing where dancers focus on practicing the dance; while a “*practilonga*” combines the relaxed atmosphere of a “*practica*” with the format of a “milonga.” We are doing it all! ***Cost is $10 payable to the Teacher.*** *Cost is for the cost of the venue and covers some snacks.* We have had fun doing this event in the past. Please arrive promptly as lessons begin at 2pm. Don't worry about bringing a partner as there will be others at the event from outside the group that: a) might have a clue and b) won't step on your toes. The event is BYOB (similar to our Salsa events), so bring your favorite and a wine glass. We will likely find a place for dinner and drinks after the dance.
