Αυτή η εκδήλωση είναι ιδανική για μαθητές Αγγλικών ως Δεύτερης Γλώσσας (ESL) που θέλουν να βελτιώσουν τις γλωσσικές τους δεξιότητες ενώ παράλληλα κάνουν νέους διεθνείς φίλους. Είτε θέλετε να βελτιώσετε τις γλωσσικές σας δεξιότητες για καθημερινή επικοινωνία είτε για συγκεκριμένους σκοπούς, όπως εξετάσεις ή συνεντεύξεις εργασίας, σας καλύπτουμε. Είμαστε μια μικρή ομάδα Χριστιανών που προσφέρουμε δωρεάν μαθήματα Αγγλικών σε όποιον θέλει να εξασκήσει, να αναπτύξει και να ενισχύσει τις αγγλικές του δεξιότητες. Θα συναντιόμαστε σε μια δωρεάν τοποθεσία κάθε εβδομάδα για να κάνουμε το μάθημα και θα χρησιμοποιούμε ένα βιβλίο ασκήσεων με θέματα συζήτησης από τα βιβλία του Λουκά και των Πράξεων για να βοηθήσουμε τις συζητήσεις μας. Άτομα οποιουδήποτε υπόβαθρου, εθνικότητας, φύλου, φυλής κ.λπ. είναι ευπρόσδεκτα! Το υλικό είναι μοναδικό επειδή δεν έχει σχεδιαστεί για χρήση στην τάξη, αλλά για ατομικές συζητήσεις. Τα μαθήματα προορίζονται για αρχάριους (επίπεδα CEF A2 & A3) και μεσαίου επιπέδου (επίπεδο CEF B1) μαθητές και στοχεύουν μόνο στην παροχή πρόσθετης υποστήριξης στην αγγλική γλώσσα - δεν προορίζονται να αποτελέσουν ένα πλήρες μάθημα διδασκαλίας αγγλικών ή να αντικαταστήσουν ένα μάθημα σε μια σχολή ξένων γλωσσών. Οι ομάδες βασικού επιπέδου επικεντρώνονται κυρίως στην καθημερινή ομιλούμενη γλώσσα. Οι ομάδες μεσαίου επιπέδου χρησιμοποιούν κυρίως επεξηγηματικά κείμενα που περιγράφουν ή εξηγούν πράγματα. Κατά την άφιξή σας, θα σας ζητηθεί να καταχωρήσετε το όνομα και τα στοιχεία επικοινωνίας σας αποκλειστικά για σκοπούς επικοινωνίας και θα υπόκειστε στον Νόμο 125(I)/2018. Περιστασιακά τραβάμε φωτογραφίες και βίντεο κατά τη διάρκεια των Δωρεάν Μαθημάτων Αγγλικών τόσο για ψηφιακή όσο και για έντυπη διαφήμιση και μάρκετινγκ, όπως φυλλάδια και μέσα κοινωνικής δικτύωσης. This event is perfect for English as a Second Language (ESL) learners who want to improve their language skills while making new international friends. Welcome to Nicosia Free English Classes! Whether you want to improve your language skills for everyday communication or have specific purposes like exams or job interviews, we have you covered. We are a small group of Christians who offer free English classes to anyone wanting to practice, grow, and strengthen his or her English skills. We will meet at a free location each week to have the class, and we will use a workbook with conversation prompts from the books of Luke and Acts to aid our conversations. People of any background, nationality, gender, race, etc. are welcome! The materials are unique because they are not designed for classroom use, but instead for individual conversations. We will be using this material to prompt our conversations. We believe that a friendly relationship and the exchange of personal insights contribute significantly to improving language skills. When we talk about ideas that are important to us, we try harder to communicate clearly, and we make a greater effort to understand what the other person is saying. Here lies the success of the approach and resources and their continued value in language learning. This is NOT an accredited course. Teachers at Free English Classes are volunteer Christians. We are unable to guarantee that all teachers have teacher training qualifications. The lessons are intended for beginner (CEF levels A2 & A3) and intermediate (CEF level B1) level learners; and only aim to provide additional English language support - they are not meant to be a complete course of English teaching or to replace a course in a language school. Join us as we get together to get together to help those in need at this CMG Gives Back event! We have a great little community of Movie Group friends so rather than see a movie this time, we’ll help “create a better world” by helping serve those in need. Here are complete details and our plan for this event: FAITH MISSION – GRANT KITCHEN: The Faith Mission kitchen and dining room serves residents 3 meals a day, every day of the year. For this event, our group will help prepare food, serve meals, assist residents in the dining room, wash dishes, and clean surfaces. PLAN: We will be preparing / serving / cleaning for BRUNCH from 10:30am to 12:30pm and have space for a total of 7 volunteers. Please arrive at 10:20am and wear closed-toe shoes and long pants. LOCATION: Faith Mission – Grant Kitchen is located at 245 N. Grant Ave. Enter the kitchen at Dock 1 (in the back of the building), indicated in the attached map. On-site parking in the adjacent lot and street parking is available in the surrounding area.
