Look forward to leading professionals from product, engineering, and UX/design, sharing their best practices and discussing trends and topics with you the community.
We are still early in our planning, but expect the first speaker announcements soon. Join us for an evening of networking, fueled by drinks and bites – just bring your ideas and your colleagues!

07:00 PM - Welcome by Christoph Bresler, Founder of Digitale Leute School
07:05 PM - Welcome by SAP & Moderation by Thomas Riedel

**Mareike Dorra**, Head of Product Management Bootcamps at Digitale Leute School (ex-Zalando) will interview **Jan Hegewald**, VP Engineering at Rabot Energy (ex-SumUp, -Zalando, -Idealo) about the rise of Product Engineering. AI is changing how software is built. In this conversation, Mareike Dorra and Jan Hegewald explore why the focus is shifting from software development to product development—and how engineers, through product thinking, new tools, and closer collaboration with product managers, are evolving into “product engineers.”
07:40 PM - Questions & Answers
08:00 PM - Networking
08:55 PM - Wrap up of the meetup
**Good to know**
In addition to our meetup, we bring together over 1,000 product builders in Cologne every November at our international software product development conference, the Digitale Leute Summit. Speakers in 2026 include representatives from Atlassian, Google DeepMind, Zendesk, sevdesk, and many more.
You can find more information here: [Digitale Leute Summit 2026](https://www.digitale-leute.de/summit/26/ "https://www.digitale-leute.de/summit/26/")
**About Digitale Leute**
Digitale Leute has always been about one thing: bringing together the people who shape digital products. The thinkers, the builders, the ones who care deeply about how technology is made and why it matters. Over the years, our community has grown – but we’ve missed the magic that only happens when you’re in the same room, sharing ideas, swapping stories, and sparking conversations that no Slack channel can replicate.
So we decided: it’s time to bring our meetups back.
**About SAP in Berlin**
Located in the heart of European innovation, [SAP in Berlin](https://www.sap.com/germany/about/berlin.html "https://www.sap.com/germany/about/berlin.html") combines the power of a global company with the strength of a unique local ecosystem – we attract talent, shape SAP‘s image as a front-runner of innovation, and foster our position as market leader for enterprise application software in Berlin.
* Wie gehen wir mit Gedanken um, die nicht in unser Selbstbild passen?
* Ist es wichtig, problematische Gedanken öffentlich zu besprechen, oder gibt es gute Gründe, bestimmte Dinge nur mit uns selbst auszuhandeln?
* Erlaubt uns ein anderer Umgang mit unseren eigenen unliebsamen Anteilen, einen anderen Umgang mit gesellschaftlichen Problemen?
* und viele mehr …
Die Diskussion wird wie immer mit unseren experimentellen Methoden moderiert, die uns erlauben, das Gespräch fokussierter, entspannter und inspirierender zu gestalten.
**FAQs**

Join **founders, investors, ecosystem builders, and curious minds** for open conversations, practical insights, and meaningful connections.
**What to expect:**
* **Info & Demo Tables (5:00–8:00 PM):** Discover startups, technologies, and ecosystem initiatives.

NVC & Boundaries
**NVC & BOUNDRIES**
***Weekend Workshop***
What a delicate human moment it is — the one in which someone says or receives a “no.”
“Can we make love?”
— No.
“Would you like to go for a coffee with me?”
— No.
“Would you like to work together?”
— No.
It takes such vulnerability to voice a request — to courageously share your heart and its dreams. And it takes just as much courage to stay true to yourself, not to please the other at the cost of your own authenticity.
So often we end up saying *yes* when we actually mean *no* — because we’re afraid of losing connection, or because “it’s the right thing to do.”
This weekend is an exploration of those delicate moments — their depth, their vulnerability, and the dynamics they reveal. We’ll begin by discovering our own boundaries and what truly matters to us, since so much confusion and pain arise when we don’t even know where our boundaries are.
We’ll learn to say *no* in a way that is authentic, safe, and connecting. We’ll learn how to receive a *no* without betraying the vulnerability that comes with it. We’ll learn how to transform the moment of giving or receiving a *no* from a wall into the beginning of a meaningful dialogue — one where *you can be you, and I can be me*, together.
“Words are windows, or they’re walls.” — *Marshall Rosenberg*
**Teaching Style**
Expect minimum 50-70% practice and exercises, demonstrations and other interactive ways to engage, and the rest it’s gonna be theory.
**When?** 6 -7 June 2026
Saturday & Sunday: 10:00 - 17:30
**Daily schedule:**
**Saturday** Arrival: From 9:30
Morning Workshop / Practice space: 10-13
Lunch: 13 - 14:15
Afternoon Workshop / Practice space: 14:15 - 17:30
**Sunday** Arrival: From 9:30
Morning Workshop / Practice space: 10-13
Lunch: 13 - 14:15
Afternoon Workshop / Practice space: 14:15 - 16:00
Financial Co-Responsibility Circle: 16:15 - 17:30
Goodbyes: Until 18:30
We’ll have organic breaks to support us through the schedule.
**Where?**
Braschzeile 12-14, 14109 Berlin (Wannsee).
For this 2 days workshop, we’ll be able to gather in the privacy and calmness of a house in Wannsee. A large garden with solemn old trees offers the grounding and space needed to gently move into the vulnerability to meet ourselves and each other at our boundaries and in the pain of where they’ve been crossed.
*It’s possible to sleep on site for a limited amount of people, priority it’s given to who comes from out of town.*
**Experience**:
No previous experience it’s required, everyone is welcome. The exercises will allow deepening the NVC practice even when you already have experience with it.
**Who is this for?**
Space is limited to a group of 14 people. As we want to create a safe container to also explore our hurting parts, we would prefer people to join for the full weekend flow. If you can’t join the whole thing contact us and we’ll see if it’s fitting for you to join only one day or a part of the workshop.
**Price?**
This event is neither charged, nor free.
We’re intending to create/ to play with a conscious systems-based approach to money and how it flows in between humans. We want resources to flow towards serving & nourishing life. As we are co-creating learning, developmental and healing spaces we want to care for what’s needed for people to attend as well as for what’s needed so that we can continue to co-create such spaces.
That’s why we’ll offer two systems of distributing (monetary) resources in between the people present in an attempt to make this event financially sustainable for everyone.
**About the food**
Lunches will be prepared in advance, let us know of any special food allergies

**YOUR FACILITATORS**
**Martina Pesce**
Hi, I'm Martina. I came in contact with Nonviolent Communication (NVC) through a relationship where I started to grasp the beauty of this tool. After 3 years of self-study and occasional practice, I was touched by how this communication allowed me to connect with my mum in conflict, so strongly that I felt love for her for the first time in 20 years.
Unsatisfied with the lack of mental health support in the neuroscience research field, I decided to switch careers and dive deep into NVC. I trained as a mediator, counsellor and trainer at the Connecting2life school (Yoram Mosenzon). It was a two-year-long process of embodying the tool and then learning how to transmit it so that it could sink in the body. For a year I've been holding my workshops, courses and 1:1 practice.
My approach is based on practice and embodiment. I found NVC very revolutionary and with that respect, I like to let sink in our system a few bits of info at the time, rather than an overwhelming waterfall of theory.
**Matthias Flury**
Hi. My name is Matthias. To be honest with you, I’m incredibly hesitant to write this short biography about myself. Part of the resistance comes from a fear of not being enough - it’s an insecurity that often comes alive since for many years of my life my need for connection wasn’t met, no matter what I tried. Out of this experience I’m shy to show and present myself, even to an unknown reader, to not go through the pain of rejection again. Another source for this hesitation is that I’ve got an idea of how I need to present myself here as a teacher. “I need to sell myself well and in a way that will make you trust me and curious to learn from me”. And I’m worried that I’ll try to perform as something I’m not in order to achieve that. Underneath the pressure of trying to be perfect I’m certain I’ll lose something incredibly important. I’ll lose connection to myself and with that any hope of actually contributing value to you.
That’s why I’ll start this introduction of myself like this. I’m looking forward to meeting you and exploring together how we can connect to our feelings and unknown desires. How we can hold space and lovingly meet each other exactly where we are in our authentic selves. This is the place where relationships gain intimacy and depth, where love grows and where life begins to make sense.
Just in case you actually want to know about my background: I started learning about NVC in 2019, took my first lessons with Empathie Stadt Zurich in 2020, and completed my education in 2023 with a course about teaching and embodying NVC by CNVC-Trainer Yoram Mosenzon. I regularly support NVC-teachers as an assistant in their courses and occasionally teach myself. If you have any questions you can reach me at [matthias.flury@mail.ch](mailto:matthias.flury@mail.ch).
Art Social
An opening of an art exhibition is a nice occasion to catch up and hang out. No agenda, just art, wine and chat.

KIT Berlin ([@kitstudioartspace](https://www.instagram.com/kitstudioartspace)) invites you to an exhibition of paintings by Wiola Stankiewicz [@wiola_stankiewicz](https://www.instagram.com/wiola_stankiewicz/) “Now it Makes Sense, Isn’t It?” and a musical performance by Antonio Bastos [@antonio__bastos](https://www.instagram.com/antonio__bastos/)
Now It Makes Sense, Isn’t It? continues the “Emotional Algorithm” project — a series of paintings built from intuitively selected screenshots, private photographs, and images found online.
The images are combined like an emotional bajaderka (a Polish layered dessert traditionally made from mixed leftovers, fragments, and combined remains) — sometimes through color, contrast, or an unexplainable feeling that they simply belong together. The works explore screen aesthetics and digital ways of perceiving images. Meaning often appears only later. And sometimes not at all.
Wiola Stankiewicz is a visual artist born in Elbląg, Poland, currently living and working in Coimbra, Portugal. Her practice focuses on painting, collage, and assemblage, using mixed media techniques and experimental material processes.
Working with icons of popular culture, landscapes, found images, and photographs from her personal archive, Stankiewicz builds a coherent and autonomous visual language based on intuition and process. Her works function as images of an open character, in which meaning emerges from the relationships between image, material, and gesture.
Antonio Bastos turns vulnerability into stage, community into sound and instinct into creation. From electronics to tradition, from improvised lyrics to shared movement, his music is born live and unfolds into a visual, emotional experience. With dozens of releases and festival shows, he was awarded People’s Choice at the IPMA (USA), blending performance with community creation — involving choirs, schools and local groups of all ages. Each concert is a seed sown in the territory, where the audience also becomes creator.
