The monthly Zen meditation retreat at Lambda Zen Temple is a three day meditation retreat, where we reexamine the true self through a very simple hermitagelike life-style. The retreat starts monthly every third Friday at 10am (10:00) and ends Sunday at 3pm (15:00). Everyone concentrates her consciousness on the given task while working. To work is to cleanse the mind. Work is an opportunity to meditate and become awakened to the real self. A small event in daily life can become an important moment of awareness for one who is in great darkness. Easy Panorama Hike (1 h 45 min) from Vögelinsegg to Teufen! We will meet at Vögelinsegg Station near Speicher (train from SG arrives at 10:11) and walk the panorama way to Teufen. In the middle of the way there is a restaurant called Waldegg and we can decide as a group to take a break or walk on. At the restaurant the learning path from the A. Vogel medicinal plants starts and ends at the garden where those who want can go see the plants and the others can walk 15 min to the train station of Teufen. The event is free! It would be good to bring water and sun protection. See you!

The Alliance is part of the Greater Central Ohio Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society. We are an all-voices chorus dedicated to providing an inclusive environment for all those who love to sing, regardless of their race, gender identity, sexual orientation or musical background. The Alliance is the first and only all-voices barbershop chorus in Central Ohio. **Who:** Anyone with a passion for singing at a high level. Why are we unhappy? Where does emotional pain come from? Studies show that people who suffer from long-term emotional pain have painful experiences in their lives that were never fully resolved in their mind. In other words, there were issues in the past that were not completely dealt with. This can include abuse in childhood, breakups, divorce, death of a loved one, to name a few. How do you know whether you have gotten over something painful? Here is an easy test: Do you still have attention on what had happened to you? For instance, do you still find yourself thinking about something painful that you went through? If you are, then you are not over it. In fact, in severe cases, people find themselves playing a "tape" in their mind over and over again. So how do you heal from your past? How do you stop the "tape" playing in your mind? We are recruiting new group leaders for virtual men's groups! Our primary groups are outdoor movement groups, but we are launching virtual groups for the state of Ohio and beyond and the groups will move outside in the spring, creating room for men's groups, women's groups and coed groups all over the country. Read below to learn about our groups and click the links at the bottom to apply. ### **What is an Outdoor Empowerment Group?** Our Outdoor Movement & Community Empowerment Groups are simple, guided experiences designed to help people reconnect with nature, themselves, and others. We combine some form of movement (hike, walk, run, bike, yoga, workout) and meaningful conversation within a simple community circle to create a space where individuals can support each other while prioritizing mental and physical well-being.
