We are a group of mixed english and spanish speakers that meets at 7.30pm every other Thursday - feel free to show up whenever you can make it through the evening.** \*\*\* This has always been, and remains, a pretty relaxed, free-flowing intercambio - absolutely no pressure, so the plan is just take things at your own pace and get chatting to the person nearest to you. The guys are all absolutely lovely and super welcoming, we have new people every week alongside the growing squad that are now fast becoming our regulars, our family and our friends. **Join us in a north London park to learn to play kubb like a pro with Adam from Redbourn Kubb.** No experience or equipment required, just good vibes ✌️ We will play from around 18:00 until 19:30pm, so come along at any time during that time and join a game. The game does not require strength, stamina, or speed, it is a game of precision, accuracy and strategy. We will go to see Romería, Carla Simón’s third feature – nominated in 6 categories at the 2026 Goya Awards – is the concluding episode of the filmmaker’s semi-autobiographical trio of films exploring her upbringing and family history. Set on the Galician coast in the early 2000s, the film follows 18-year-old Marina, who travels to Vigo in search of information about her biological father; she is seeking his death certificate to be able to apply for a scholarship to film school. Reconnecting with her paternal side of the family, she discovers a huge amount of shame and secrecy around his death. Reading from her biological mother’s diary entries from her youth, Marina takes the opportunity to uncover what she can about her parents’ relationship with the estranged family, and discovers the reason for their secrecy. For those who can stay will go for a drink after the screening to discuss the film.

**Join us in Enfield Croquet Club to play like a pro on their beautiful dedicated lawns for a free croquet coaching session!** No experience or equipment required, just good vibes ✌️ **However you do need to pre-register via the email address course@enfieldcroquet.org to ensure there is space for you play, as this is open to local Enfielders too and some spaces may be booked up already.** In this free session they will share their skills and tips to become a better croquet player. All equipment is provided, with coaching delivered by experienced club members; just wear flat shoes or trainers.
