Medicine Buddha Puja, meaning a special chanted prayer session. All are welcome to attend, and we welcome practitioners to join in this wonderful, traditional healing and purification practice we chant in Tibetan. Chanting is in Tibetan with English and transliteration text provided. Join in the chanting, attend quietly as a blessing, or do your own practice during the pujas. Participation is voluntary and open to all. This Mahayana/Vajrayana puja practice includes prayers requested by friends and relatives for those who are experiencing difficulties in life, are ill or have died; you are invited to add your personal dedications during the prayers. These practices develop and enrich an attitude of healing the body and mind and cultivating an attitude of loving-kindness and compassion for all beings without exception. We are currently reading Medicine Buddha Teachings by Thrangu Rinpcohe before each practice. This will be an excellent walk through for those who haven’t had formal instruction and a great refresher for seasoned practitioners.

All writers and all experience levels are welcome and don’t worry, no one will see what you've written. This hour is about getting your writing done. WHAT TO EXPECT We’ll give 5 minutes in the beginning for people to settle in and share what they’re working on, then have 50 minutes of focused writing before we give people a chance to talk about what they accomplished. There are so many different mythologies, sects, and philosophies that each one of us will follow our own path. Would you like to share with us? This is a 45-60 minute soothing meditation, assisted around singing bowls, most of them crystal. The goal is to relax your body, soothe your soul, and balance your your energy. I have figured out how to recreate the experience of a live sound bath on the internet. One of the things we find is that singing bowls, especially the crystal ones, seem to transmit some of the energy of the practitioner, which means that it is helpful when the practitioner is confident in their technique and in sound theory, is centered and grounded, and works with healing intent. If you have had an uncomfortable experience in a sound bath, the practitioner may have been off that day. Please note that the session on the last Saturday of the month is a more focused, coached experience designed to help you move through trauma.
