¿Qué hacemos? A las 20:00h tenemos una meditación budista guiada. La meditación tiene una duración de unos 25 minutos y es accesible y beneficiosa para personas de todos los niveles de experiencia. ¿Qué es el Camino del Diamante? El Buda dio instrucciones a tres clases de personas. Las primeras que deseaban evitar el sufrimiento recibieron las enseñanzas sobre Causa y Efecto, llamadas Camino Angosto (Hinayana). El segundo tipo de personas sentía la necesidad de beneficiar a los demás, por lo que les dio enseñanzas sobre compasión y sabiduría, llamadas Gran Camino (Mahayana). Finalmente a las personas que tenían una confianza sólida en su propio potencial y en de los demás, el Buda explicó enseñanzas del Camino del Diamante (Vajrayana). En este último nivel utilizamos métodos de identificación con la meta y actuamos como un Buda hasta que llegamos a ser como él. En el nivel más elevado, la meta, es el completo desarrollo de la mente, a lo cual denominó el Gran Sello (Mahamudra). ¿Quiénes somos? El Centro Budista Camino del Diamante de Barcelona forma parte de los más de 700 centros de meditación a nivel internacional de la tradición Karma Kagyu del Budismo Tibetano. Estos centros han sido fundados y guiados por Lama Ole Nydahl y su esposa Hannah Nydahl, de acuerdo con los deseos de H. H. XVI Karmapa. Ahora están bajo la guía espiritual de H.H. XVII Gyalwa Karmapa, Trinley Thaye Dorje. Ciao! Para **este lunes festivo** volvemos a pasear por el **antiguo** **camino agrario que une Mataró a Sant Andreu de Llavaneres**. Un itinerario fácil y sin dificultad técnica que nos llevará, sin prisas, a cruzar una tranquila zona agrícola con vista al mar. Haremos una **parada en la playa de Sant Andreu de Llavaneres** para descansar, disfrutar del mar y, para l@s mas temerari@s , darnos un baño 🏊‍♂️🏊‍♀️. Después retomaremos el camino siguiendo el **paseo marítimo** hasta **Caldes d’Estrac**, para hacer el picnic en la playa y, con quien le apetezca, daremos un **último paseo por el pueblo**, con tiempo para tomar un café, antes de **coger el tren de vuelta**. No olvides traer algo para hacer **picnic mirando al mar** 😎 🧺 (bocadillo, agua o lo que prefieras) y protección para el sol (gorra, crema, agua, para beber, etc.) . The Humanist Monthly Program is our longest running event and still a community favorite. In the old days it used to be called "Going to HCCO" and we still like to think of it as our flagship event. We will be hearing from Becca Powell, Director of Advocacy and Outreach at Unchained At Last, an organization whose mission is dedication to ending forced and child marriage in the United States through direct services and systems change. Unchained At Last's mission clearly meshes and addresses several of our Humanist Ten Commitments. Becca will educate us about an issue many of us may not be familiar with--but should be.
