Tothom marxa. Ja gairebé no hi queda ningú.
"God of Carnage" by Yasmina Reza - a staged reading
"God of Carnage" by Yasmina Reza - a staged reading
Deaf Donkey Productions presents a staged reading performance of God of Carnage by Yasmina Reza. This multi-award winning drama pits two sets of parents against one another when an outburst of schoolyard violence leaves one of their sons injured. They meet cordially, at first, in an effort to resolve the situation. But cracks in the veneer of polite society appear almost immediately as the couples verbally spar while navigating their simmering rage. [TICKETS €5 - BUY HERE!](https://secretcomedyclubbarcelona.com/en/event/god-of-carnage-a-staged-reading/) God of Carnage lends itself wonderfully to the staged reading format, in which our four actors perform while reading from scripts on a bare stage. No props, no costumes, and no entrances or exits. Just pure, uncut acting, straight from the page to the stage in this engaging, intense war of words—or is it a battle for civilisation? With Alex Jacob, Daniela Parkes, Carlos Toca and Madeleine Tyler. Directed by Kurtis Bright. [TICKETS €5 - BUY HERE!](https://secretcomedyclubbarcelona.com/en/event/god-of-carnage-a-staged-reading/)
CREACIÓN Y MONTAJE DE MICROTEATRO. NIVEL INTERMEDIO. GRUPO B
CREACIÓN Y MONTAJE DE MICROTEATRO. NIVEL INTERMEDIO. GRUPO B

RPG School Season 1: Daggerheart Beast Feast
RPG School Season 1: Daggerheart Beast Feast
**The RPG School Initiative** a *beginner-focused* one-shot event series RPG School offers a beginner-focused, relaxed atmosphere to experience the joy of table-top roleplaying gaming for the first time. We will show you the ropes and dice, take you on a fun adventure and are prepared for all your questions. No prior experience with roleplaying or the system is needed. We will be playing Daggerheart, a new Fantasy RPG by Critical Role, using a world called Beast Feast: A bit absurd, certainly comedic, sometimes creepy, but always fun and silly. You will be playing with three to four other players at one table, the assignment happens during the event. We start each adventure with a short introduction, where you learn about the basics and pick your pre-made character. Afterwards we dive into a unique experience, explaining the rules and concepts while actually playing the game. At the end, we have time to talk and find connections as well as hear your thoughts and questions. All games are in English. The cost of participation is **8 Euro**, which you will pay at the entrance. Never played RPGs and always wanted to try? This is your event! **GAME MASTERS**: Philippe & Philippe **SYSTEM**: Daggerheart, using the Beast Feast campaign setting **DESCRIPTION**: For as long as anybody can remember, your village has been a safe haven. A powerful lure drew all the dangerous creatures in your forest down into caves beneath. Your community lived a simple life of peace for generations, only taking what you needed and leaving the lush but dangerous undergrounds to the monsters. But recently, the lure seems to have lost its allure. Monster sightings have grown and just last night, there was even an attack on your mayor, Doug Dougle! He survived but it was a shock for your community. You and your friends decide to tackle the problem yourselves. You arm yourself with a rolling pin, a fishing rod or whatever other odd tool you find. Packing only the essentials, you head out and turn west, to the well-known but shunned entrance to the legendary endless caves. What dangers and wonders will you encounter? What happened to the lure? And what will you eat on your journey? **TONE:** The tone of the setting and adventures will be absurd, comedic and lighthearted. Still, fighting somewhat creepy monsters will be part of the experience. Safety mechanisms will be provided to ensure everybody’s comfort. **PLACE**: We will play at the [ARCHIVO ARCANO](https://www.archivoarcano.com/). (Carrer del Rosselló, 195, Eixample, Barcelona). Please wait in the lobby to be welcomed and guided by one of the organizers. The entrance to the venue costs **8€.** **DRINKS & FOOD**: You can purchase drinks at the place, but you are NOT ALLOWED to bring them from outside. You CAN bring your own food. You even should do that ;). If you don't do that there will be an option to buy some snacks at the place or get a sandwich in the restaurant nearby. **ACESSIBILITY**: We try to keep the event accessible for everyone. Please let us know if you require special access (e.g. wheelchair) or care (e.g. noise sensitivity) during the event. \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- **WAITING LIST** Players who arrive more than 15 minutes late will automatically forfeit their spot, which will then be offered to people waiting at the venue. If you decide to show up without a reserved place, you may still be able to join a table if a spot becomes available. \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- **NEW TO BARCELONA ROLEPLAYING GROUP?** Join us on our [Discord](https://discord.gg/vNWpsp99db) where you find other players and gamemasters, connect with fellow peers and talk about table top roleplaying, video games and board games.
Improv Games in the Park, Spanglish version!
Improv Games in the Park, Spanglish version!
**(English version below)** **NUEVO EVENTO: JUEGOS DE IMPROVISACIÓN – VERSIÓN “SPANGLISH”** ¡Hola! **¿Puedo ir solo a mirar?** ¡Claro! ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ **NEW EVENT: IMPROV GAMES – “SPANGLISH” VERSION** Hello there! We’re Joyce and Asha, and we’ve both been improvisers for a long time. We’ve teamed up with Dave to bring you this new version so you can enjoy improv games every week! Since some Spanish speakers are also interested in joining, we’ll run the sessions in both Spanish and English so everyone can learn and improve together. Don’t worry — you don’t need to be fluent in either language. The most important thing is to have fun! 🎭 Join us for a great afternoon full of fun games involving acting, improvisation, and theater! No experience or acting skills required. All you need is imagination! Anyone who is interested in trying something new is welcome. It's also a great way to meet people. After the event we usually go for drinks and/or dinner together. **What do we do in this event?** We will play all sorts of games that involve acting and improvisation. Many of them you might know from the TV show "Whose Line is it Anyway?". The games we play are different every time, but here are some typical examples: [https://youtu.be/Y_KMYPsPNXQ](https://youtu.be/Y_KMYPsPNXQ) [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tkxRzV3gtDc](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tkxRzV3gtDc) [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OXMcdieubL0](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OXMcdieubL0) If you don't like some of the games, don't worry, you can participate in as many games as you like and it's perfectly fine to skip any games you don't like. **How much does it cost?** We're charging 2 euros per person. This is just to help recover some of the expenses of the meetup account. We're hosting this event only for fun and we do not intend to make any money out of it. You can pay in cash or by Bizum when you arrive at the event. **Can I come to just watch?** Sure! If you don't want to participate, or if you're not sure yet, then you're welcome to just come along and watch. **If I want to join, do I need to sign up?** Yes, please! Even if there are more than enough places, it is very important that you still sign up for this event. This is for two reasons: 1\. If not enough people sign up then we may have to cancel the event\. 2\. The more people sign up\, the more attractive this event becomes for other people to also sign up\. **Where do we meet?** We meet in the Parc de la Ciutadella. If you're coming from the Arc de Triomf and enter the park, turn left directly after the entrance. You will see a big industrial art piece (see photos). Keep walking until you passed it. We meet right behind this art piece. When we arrive at the meeting point we usually upload a selfie to the photos section of this event, so you can recognize us. We also usually bring a small A4-sized meetup sign. **What happens if it rains?** In case of rain we will move the event to the Mercat Sant Antoni, where we can play under a roof. In that case, please keep an eye on the comments section of this event for further details. **Do you have a Whatsapp group to stay in contact after the event?** Yes, we do! If you want to join our group, please ask the organizers to add you, before or after the event.

No rehearsal. You submit your real problem. Josh and a panel of Barcelona's funniest comedians solve it live - and the whole room watches. **Here's how it works:** Before the show, you submit your problem - dating, career, bad decisions, moral dilemmas, whatever's keeping you up at night. Josh picks the best ones and works through them live on stage with his panel. Some nights you'll cry laughing. Some nights you'll genuinely walk away with clarity. Most nights, both. Every show is completely one-of-a-kind because the audience writes it. *Note: The entire show will be filmed, like a talk show!* **Here’s what the night looks like:** The first half is pure stand-up comedy - just sit back and laugh. But the ones who do submit? They usually have the best night. **Why people come:** * You've watched Josh give advice online. The film follows a washed-up wedding singer, a fading boy band singer and a stolen hit song. Here’s a description, trailer and plan for this event: DESCRIPTION: Rick, a washed-up wedding singer, and Danny, a fading boy band star, bond over music and a late-night jam session. When Danny turns Rick's song into a hit, Rick sets out to reclaim the recognition he believes he deserves. Power Ballad is written/directed by John Carney, the master of the modern musical and creative mind behind Once, Begin Again and Sing Street! It stars Paul Rudd, Nick Jonas, Peter McDonald, Marcella Plunkett, Havana Rose Liu and Jack Reynor. BUZZ & ACCLAIM: The film premiered to rave reviews at this year’s Dublin International Film Festival where critics call it “a sure-fired crowd-pleaser” that “just might be the feel-good hit of the year!” Others say, “Paul Rudd delivers a career-best performance in this charmer” that’s both “hilarious and deeply moving." The film continues John Carney’s “long run of success with yet another charmer” and “a sharp, hopeful crowd-pleaser that strikes the right notes!” SUMMER OF ICE CREAM, VOL 2: SHAKE NO. 8!
