Hi All, the hike is at 1pm tomorrow 04/05/26 (weather permitting ⛈️❌) in Ticknock Forest and doing the 3 rock trail ⛰️. All are welcome. I think the hike will be approx 2 or 3 hours. After the hike we might go get food in Dundrum 🍲. Some people are interested in watching the Devil Wears Prada 2 there in the cinema 🎥, this would depend what time we get off the hiking trail / showtimes etc. Please wear appropriate clothing and bring a change of clothes, any lunch or snacks you might need Conscious a lot of people don't have the use of a car so this is the closest area we can think of in the Dublin/Wicklow mountains that has public transport around. Join us to **practise and improve your target language with native speakers on Monday in River Bar**(1 Burgh Quay, Dublin 2) from **6.30pm to 8.30pm**. **Our system:** **• You sit opposite a native speaker of the language you're learning** **• You speak 5mins English, 5mins other language, then change table** This ensures everyone gets an equal opportunity to practise the language they're learning. Our team seats people, controls the time, organises the table changes etc. What to expect: • Relaxed easy going atmosphere • Professional and quality service • Great networking opportunities • All levels welcome from absolute beginner to fully fluent • A big mix of ages with attendees at each event from 18 to 70+ years old • Topic cards on the tables to help start conversations Languages: We usually have **native speakers of English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Italian, Japanese, Chinese** and more depending on who shows up. **Admission fee €7** (€6 for student card holders). **No pre-registration required, just show up**. Join us in the Outhouse Café (105 Capel Street), on Saturday from 3-5pm! Feel free to turn up at any time. New attenders are always welcome. Attending the group is free but we ask that everyone purchase something from Outhouse Café, in order to support Outhouse LGBT centre, which so kindly hosts us. They have a wide range of hot drinks, snacks and meals on offer. Gay Guys Café is a Meetup Group for young and youngish (18-35) gay guys to meet, chat and get to know each in an informal setting. It is for those younger gay guys who would like a quieter alternative to the scene for meeting other guys around their age and forming new friendships.

Congratulations to members of our Group who raced last weekend, with many out on the streets of Da Nordside taking part in the Dublin City Half Marathon - Great running everyone. Well, this Wednesday, back on the Southside, we will be running to **Birchalls in Ranelagh** for our weekly exercise - The exercise that include a full legs and arm workout, as you get to run (legs), and enjoy a drink (arms) afterwards, not to mention meeting friends, old and new, afterwards. .. For newcomers, our Group Runs are great fun, safe for all, and once the run is complete, we can share a beer, have a good chat, make new friends, and look forward to the following week. It's official, submissions for "Resistance, Resilience, Utopia" are are on their way from being independent pieces to becoming the second volume of gINKgo. This year we are going to have a launch party at Birdie Books on May 15th from 6-8pm open to the whole community!
