This easy hike in the north Austin Wells Branch neighborhood is on a smooth, mostly flat paved/crushed granite trail that goes through parkland and neighborhoods. It is usually lovely in the spring. The hike will be about 4 miles long and take 1.5 - 2 hours. Parts of it are shaded and parts are in the sun. You can get there from I 35 or MOPAC. We will meet in the small parking lot at **MILLS POND PARK, 15108 Wells Port Drive. WARNING: It is easy to miss the park entrance. We will demystify the differences between OLTP and OLAP, walk through star schema vs snowflake (and why Power BI has a clear favorite), and show you the compression differences between normalized and columnar storage that will make you never look at an OLTP model the same way again.
