Taller en el que haremos un recorrido por distintas danzas de la diáspora africana en América. Una invitación a disfrutar y soltar el cuerpo a través del ritmo de los tambores, el vínculo con la simbología de la naturaleza y danzas llenas de historia y memoria ancestral.

Una clase energética que fusiona la danza con el fitness, combinando pasos fáciles, música motivadora y ejercicios de tonificación. Ideal para mejorar la condición física, quemar energía y divertirse mientras bailas.

Movement Flow: Hemos pasado una década creando un sistema educativo inclusivo que promueve el autodescubrimiento y el crecimiento, dando la bienvenida a todos sin importar la edad o las habilidades. The Alliance is part of the Greater Central Ohio Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society. We are an all-voices chorus dedicated to providing an inclusive environment for all those who love to sing, regardless of their race, gender identity, sexual orientation or musical background. The Alliance is the first and only all-voices barbershop chorus in Central Ohio. **Who:** Anyone with a passion for singing at a high level. Picture the Grand Ball scenes like you’ve seen in period films such as “Pride and Prejudice”, where the dancers are lined up in long lines, across from each other. That’s English Country Dancing, the predecessor of contra dancing. Now, add moves like “swing your partner” and “do-si-do,” like you’ve seen in square dancing. Set it to fabulous, high energy, live music with fiddles, guitars, percussion and more, alá “Riverdance.” Finally, set the whole scene down in the middle of Woodstock, with a hip, groovy atmosphere, a bit of tie-dye, and hints of counter-culture attitude. THAT’s Contra Dancing! Wear cool and comfortable clothes (you will get warm) and clean shoes that won't mark up our nice wood floor. Be sure to come for the beginner's lesson from 7:30 - 8:00, followed by dancing 8:00 - 10:30. All dances are taught; we will help you learn! Beginners always welcome, no need to bring a partner.
