Welcome cold lovers! We have been practising cold water plunges for over 4 years. We believe in the benefits of cold water exposure. The feeling you get after the swim is magnificent, it makes you feel alive. We have started this group to safely experience the cold water together. We motivate each other, do active warmup exercises, and also share our life stories with a warm coffee/tea afterwards. The event is every Sunday at 11:30, we meet no matter the weather. Take along: a large towel, comfortable bathing suit, flip-flops, and warm clothes (hat, gloves, etc). If you’re planning swimming out take along a bright swim buoy. The event is Free. Repeating one of my favourite routes last year: walking along historic irrigation channels (also known as Suonen), adventurous tunnels, larch forests, with a view of Glishorn, Matterhorn, the Leone Group and Mischabel – experience all this and more on the hike from Birgisch via Mund, the so-called saffron village, to Eggen (From SwitzerlandMobility). We will continue the hike through the sun-drenched slopes of Valais until we reach Ausserberg. From there, we descend into charming Wülflingen and push back up through lush spring forest trails towards Töss. The highlight? Passing through the legendary Totentäli — a place wrapped in myth and mystery — now featuring a brand-new bridge over the ponds. With the spring light filtering through the trees, it promises to be simply breathtaking.
