Noontime Council of Solace (Open to Members and Seekers)
The Council of Solace is a special meditation where we gather to direct our spiritual energy to help bring about healing and peace to the world. Many people do this as part of a daily practice in service of others and find it to be a personally enriching experience that provides them with a sense of renewal. Please join us as we gather for a noontime meditation each weekday.

The Secret Meetup
Join us for The Secret Meetup, a semi-monthly board game night at The Secret Lantern Books & Games in Cedar Park! It’s called The Secret Meetup, so you probably shouldn’t tell anyone 🤫 (…but you should absolutely tell people though).
We’re a safe, friendly, inclusive, and diverse group. New players are always welcome — we’re happy to teach games and help you find a table.
🕕 Games start at 6:00 pm and go until 10:00 pm.
📅 First meetup: Monday, March 9. This is a pilot, so potentially every other Monday after that!
📍The Secret Lantern Books and Games in Cedar Park. Housed in a former bank, this shop is now the very definition of “cozy.” Think comfy upholstered furniture, warm lighting, and tucked-away corners, perfect for settling into a long game. And yes — there’s a Vault Room, complete with massive steel door and spinning wheel handle, now reborn as one of the coolest places around to plot your next heist— err, move.
⏰ Good to know:
• You’re welcome to arrive earlier to hang out or play, but games will definitely start at 6:00 pm.
• The store opens at 10:00 am — if you want to make a whole game day of it, leave a comment!
• Coffee drinks and light food are available for purchase at the store — please support our host venue.

You don't HAVE to be a newcomer to attend this event, but if you ARE a "newbie," and live north of the river, this happy hour was created with YOU in mind! Weekly Meet Up Friendship Brunch for non-Religious Progressives.
We are going to festivals March 29 and May 5. Back to our regular brunch on April 12.
We have been meeting weekly for 4 years. We meet in Cedar Park or Leander every Sunday and sometimes get together mid-week. We are progressive, non-religious people. Attendance is about 6-10. We generally discuss what is going on in our lives, not as much religion and politics. Most of us deal with religious and conservative folks all week so this is OUR space to be OURSELVES. There are other atheist groups that discuss religion, some discuss politics and some forbid it. If you think our group fits you, text301-213-9533. Location hidden until then.
Deep Peace Meditation
Experience the deeply calming effects of Yoga Meditation. No need to bring anything. Dress comfortably. Seating is provided (floor chairs and sofas).
The class is 7:00-8:15pm. We are happy to stay afterwards if people have questions.
Yoga Meditation is simple, effective, and enjoyable. It helps to calm the mind, relax the body, and allow us to be more steady no matter what is happening in our lives. There will an opportunity after the class for questions about anything related to meditation, managing stress, dealing with anxiety, and so on.

These classes are gentle and effective for everyone, regardless of age, physical condition, or experience. They include breathing, alignment, balance, strengthening, toning, stretching, relaxation, and meditation.

Bring: A mat; a thick towel, blanket, or rug; and water.
Clothing: Wear comfortable clothing that is easy to move in. Wear layers when it's cold so that you can adjust your clothing as you warm up and cool down. Please refrain from wearing perfume and other fragrances.

Yoga Asana is the physical practice of yoga that includes exercises, breathing, and relaxation. The purpose of Yoga Asana isn't fitness. It is, in part, to take care of the body as our vehicle; and although this may include fitness, it should never be defined by it. Yoga Asana practice gives us the opportunity to become aware of the body and the life force within the body, helping us to experience that we are not the body but rather the eternal being within the body who needs fulfillment on a level that the body cannot satisfy. This experience can then lead us to the deeper yoga practices, which are centered around meditation (the heart of yoga) and spiritual inquiry about our eternal identity and purpose. Ohio Fight club
We are a real world Martial arts group. \
Called DO JUNG ISHU (the art of fighting) \
Based off of Jeet kune do we just continued where Bruce Lee left off. \
We have been around a while. \
We are donation based.
Every week we get together and work technical skills and live pressure testing. \
Almost all of the instructors have been in everything from altercations in the real world to the ring and some still compete in the cage. \
If you want to take your skills up, improve your confidence, gain self defense skills, get in better shape, test yourself or just want to kill some time and possibly get hit a bit come on down. \

Free In-person Meeting: Unwanted Emotions & Loneliness, How to Get Over Them
This is an in-person meeting.
Did you know that unwanted emotions like loneliness, sadness, hopelessness, anger, fear, anxiety, or feelings of irritation don’t just fall on you for no reason. They are not random occurrences that simply happen to people's minds. They are definitely not chemical imbalance in your brain due to some nebulous chemical reactions by chance.
Your negative emotions are the symptoms of the painful experiences that you have which are not healed, and which are still affecting you.
The effects of these painful experiences are exacerbated by the pressures or difficulties of the other problems in your life.
For instance, let's say you are already carrying a huge load on your back, then you cannot take on much more, but, let's say something else happens to you, such as the difficulties from the Pandemic, then the resultant combined weight on you can take you over the edge, kind of like the straw that break the camel's back. When this happens, people's attention usually goes to the straw that was added, but actually the majority of the weight had come from the huge load that were already there, holding a person down and causing a person issues.
So how do you remove the huge load that was already there? How do you lighten them up? Is it possible to get rid of them?
That is what this meeting will be all about.

Want to Truly Heal from Emotional Trauma?
Why are we unhappy? Where does emotional pain come from? Studies show that people who suffer from long-term emotional pain have painful experiences in their lives that were never fully resolved in their mind. In other words, there were issues in the past that were not completely dealt with. This can include abuse in childhood, breakups, divorce, death of a loved one, to name a few.
How do you know whether you have gotten over something painful? Here is an easy test: Do you still have attention on what had happened to you? For instance, do you still find yourself thinking about something painful that you went through? If you are, then you are not over it. In fact, in severe cases, people find themselves playing a "tape" in their mind over and over again.
