Release Your Inner Writer - Monday's at 4pm pacific, 5pm mountain, 6pm central
**Release Your Inner Writer**
**Release Your Inner Writer is for anyone who feels they are a writer, wants to be a writer, or those who want to explore writing in a comfortable and supportive setting. We’ll set the stage for you to write creatively with opportunities to share with the group, or not, whatever you’re comfortable with.**
Have you ever thought: “I have an interesting story, but I don’t know how to start sharing it with people”? Have you ever thought of writing a book? Do you simply want to start journaling? Every person has a story to share, and all of them are transformational for us and sometimes for others. When we write our thoughts and ideas down, we move internal content to an external device like a notebook or a laptop. By doing this we’re able to clear our heads and uncover one layer after another.
**Hosted by Kathy Nutt**
**Kathy Nutt** is a creative who uses many media and styles to convey a glimpse into her mysterious, whimsical world. Although mainly focused on the visual arts, she dabbles in the written word and is endeavoring to cultivate a consistent practice of writing, whether it be poetry, essays, short stories, or journaling.
Kathy believes a writing practice (along with any creative practice) is a beneficial way to break through the mundane and view our worlds through fresh new eyes. We may discover a breakthrough, change a pattern, or just experience catharsis. Or we may simply arrive in a place of joy. She believes the creative process is more important than the finished product and that creativity is for everyone, not just the gifted few.
**CREATING CONNECTION CANADA** is a network of welcoming and inclusive communities committed to sharing authentic conversation, nurturing meaningful activities, promoting holistic wellness practices, and fostering compassionate action. We are LGBTQ+ affirming. People of every walk of life, culture, faith, or tradition, participate in a myriad of connection groups, forming meaningful community within this diversity. As a result, these communities are multi-faceted - expressing the inspirations, aspirations, wisdom, practices, and blessing of all. While we encourage you to share openly, we ask that you do so in a kind and considerate manner.
**As a REGISTERED NON-PROFIT** charity working to bring community together through like-minded interests, we welcome and gratefully appreciate any financial support. Tax receipts are provided.

If you're a Women Over 40, sometimes you feel like you need a 2nd chance in the 2nd chapter of life, right? Starting a business is NOT EASY at any time in life, much less when you're at this age! Sometimes you become a small business owner out of desperation rather than inspiration — try being unemployed in your mid-late 40s much less after the age of 50 and attempt getting a job in today's marketplace — you'll have better luck at being struck by lightning twice!
Starting a new business is risky, but it can be minimized by the right game plan. Additionally, entrepreneurship and building a business can be lonely. It has been proven that **FOR WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS THE GREATEST PREDICTOR OF SUCCESS IS BUILT UPON MEANINGFUL SOCIAL CONNECTIONS.**
***Targeting Women-Over-40 who want to become entrepreneurs***, this event is designed to introduce you to the world of BusyGal - www.busygalcorp.com as a beneficial business resource for you to be able to achieve your business goals and transform your life through start-up business coaching and workshops as well as online entrepreneurial education.

2. I will take a few minutes to introduce you to one area of the world of BusyGal and how we can help you and your brand succeed through what we offer.
3. After our first meeting in January 2023, one guest **(The Business Spotlight Maven for the Moment)** will get a 20 Minute Platform to speak about her business or enterprise\* at the next meeting. Each month thereafter I will provide a way for you to sign up to be a **"Spotlight Maven"** guest speaker at the next event if you want to take the opportunity to tell everyone about your brand. If you're interested in being the Spotlight Maven to highlight your existing business for our next meeting, just let me know by email at FeliciaMLopes@busygalcorp.com.
Attend this virtual Event to start Dreaming Again, make Connections, and Meet other amazing Women-Over-40. Book summary:
On a hot day in Bethlehem, a twelve-year-old Palestinian-American girl is yelled at by a group of men outside the Church of the Nativity. She has exposed her legs in a biblical city, an act they deem forbidden, and their judgement will echo on through her adolescence. When our narrator finally admits to her mother that she is queer, her mother's response only intensifies a sense of shame: 'You exist too much,' she tells her daughter. Told in vignettes that flash between the U.S. and the Middle East--from New York to Jordan, Lebanon, and Palestine--Zaina Arafat's debut novel traces her protagonist's progress from blushing teen to sought-after DJ and aspiring writer.
Feel Good Friday: POWER BALLAD at the Gateway Film Center + SHAKE NO. 8!

When Danny turns Rick's song into a hit, Rick sets out to reclaim the recognition he believes he deserves. It stars Paul Rudd, Nick Jonas, Peter McDonald, Marcella Plunkett, Havana Rose Liu and Jack Reynor.
