Westchester Area RPG Society (WARS) Monthly Meeting
The purpose of the meetup is to chat about RPG stuff, play RPGs together whenever possible, and give Gamemsasters and Players a way to informally meet and greet each other, talk about RPG stuff, and help to facilitate introducing players to games in the area. If you are a GM with open slots at your table this would be a good venue to meet perspective new players. Just post a RSVP and tell the group a little bit about your game so players can get an idea of what you're up to.
Or feel free to drop in and chat about D&Dish stuff. If you are interested in alternative RPGs like some Indie Games or Traveler, or whatever version of D&D from Edition 1 onward, feel free to drop in. We're open to any RPG type games.
I'll try to remember to have a sign up stating that this is us which will say "Westchester Area RPG Society (WARS)!!", but do look around for us ... Modern Myths is not a huge store, and we generally will be sitting at the tables in the back of the store.
Also, please note - a minimum of three members need to RSVP 24 hours in advance for us to hold the meeting. Otherwise the meeting is postponed until next time. I also encourage members to spark up interest by expressing your RPG interests in your RSVP and encouraging others to attend the meeting as well.
:) Mark

Individual teams will have access to video breakouts via Zoom. You can use Slack for breakout rooms if you like.
We are also exploring possible projects we could take on to help address this public health emergency. Please email codeforkc@kcdigitaldrive.org if you have any questions or are interested in working on immediate public health-related projects.
Thanks,

Open Awareness Meditation Group Meetup
We gather for guided meditation with periods of silence, followed by discussion. The silence is interspersed with meditation instruction, perhaps a brief reading, a simple inquiry, exploration or movement.
We meet every Monday night, 7:30 pm Eastern Time, ONLINE.
If you find you are running late, come anyway! The format is very relaxed and open— anyone interested in contemplative practice is welcome!
About Open Awareness Meditation Group
At the heart of these meditation sessions is the silent exploration of what we refer to as Open Awareness. We all know what it means to feel closed, limited, vulnerable, or separate. What is it like to allow ourselves to return to our natural condition of openness, presence, non-separateness and ease? This is what we explore in our meetings.
We have been meeting for over a decade. We explore and share primarily from traditions of Tibetan Buddhism, as well as the Indian Nondual tradition of Advaita. Some current teachers of this are Francis Lucille, Rupert Spira, and Eckhart Tolle .
However all of these traditions ultimately point to the same truth, the truth of our basic awareness or presence which is beyond any tradition, practice or teaching. This is the presence we share, and the presence we are, beyond words.
The meetings are open to newcomers as well as experienced meditators, and all are very welcome.
TO ATTEND:
You can register by going to Awakeningheartpracticecommunity.org. Find the Monday Night Open Awareness Sitting in the Schedule, and click on Register. Only a name and email address are required. Once registered, you'll receive an email with the Zoom link. Save the link - you only need to register once.
Zoom Trivia Bingo Night
Get tickets at: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/152554479555
Come and have an absolute blast at this one of a kind experience that combines Trivia Night and Bingo into one fantastic event! Grab a cocktail or your favorite snacks because we're bringing a party directly to your home on Zoom!
QUICK NOTE: THIS IS A MULTI MEETUP GROUP EVENT. 15 OTHER GROUPS HAVE ALSO BEEN INVITED SO WE'LL HAVE A GOOD AMOUNT OF PEOPLE IN ATTENDANCE.
HOW IT WORKS:
Once you sign up, you'll be given a link to join a party of other people via video on Zoom. All you need is a laptop, phone or tablet to take part in the event. Our friendly host will be with you live via video on Zoom orchestrating this awesomely fun event!
On the day of the event, we'll send you your own unique bingo card that you'll be using for the night. Much of the event will be like standard Bingo that you're familiar with, but with an awesome twist! Between every few Bingo numbers called, the host will give you a trivia question to answer. The team/s that answer the question correctly will to place a chip on any space on their bingo card.
The event host will make introductions amongst the group and will then group you into smaller team. Every time your team answers a question correctly, every person on your team will be allowed to put a chip on the spot of their choice on their Bingo card. While you will be working with a team to answer the trivia questions, you will have your own unique Bingo card and only one person will win Bingo in each round (we play many rounds throughout the night so a lot of people have a chance to win). Every round winner will win an awesome prize like an Amazon Gift card and more!
You're welcome to join with friends and be on a team with just your friends or sign up alone and we'll put you on a team. Typically about 70% of the crowd signs up on their own so don't worry if you're by yourself! It's actually a fantastic way to meet new people and we've witnessed countless friendships sparked at this event. In fact, the host gives everyone the opportunity to swap contact info with other people in the group at the end of the night if they'd like to.

Prompt vs. Paintbrush
AI is changing how art is made. But when does it stop being your work and start being the machine’s?
This month we're going to be doing a panel with with digital image, music, and written word artists, talking about at what point, while using AI in the creation process, does the work become not the artist creation?
We encourage audience participation during this event that will be moderated by Chris Slee.
Whether you’re deep in the field or just getting curious, come connect with others building and exploring AI in Columbus.

**Abstract**
GitHub Copilot is powerful, but what if you could scale from a solo AI assistant to an entire team of specialized agents working in parallel? This session introduces Squad: an open-source framework for multi-agent orchestration that lets you define teams of AI agents with specific roles, responsibilities, and expertise.
We'll progress from Copilot basics to the Copilot CLI, explore how Agents add autonomy, and see how Instructions and Skills let you customize agent behavior. Then, the climax: a live demo where a Squad team of 3 agents (Lead, Developer, Tester) stands up and builds a working application in real-time, showcasing true multi-agent collaboration.
Whether you're new to AI or exploring how to scale your use of Copilot, this session will show you what's possible when agents work as a team.
