Let's meet at Kantin, home of the Twisted Cat brewery, for a brewery tour and tasting! Whether you know loads about beer or are brand new to it, this will be a great way for you to see the brewing process up close, get to know a wide range of beer flavors, and make new friends in the process :) We'll get started at 16:00. For your 35€ entry fee you will get: * a tour of the Twisted Cat brewery * 6-8 tastes of various beers from their range * finger food/nibbles (please let me know if you have any allergies!) * in-depth description of all beers, the brand, brewing process, etc. We should wrap up around 18:00, and whoever wants to stay for dinner and/or more beer is more than welcome :) Parking at Kantin is easy on-site, and public transport is just a short walk away. We meet to learn and practice American Sign Language and to grow our familiarity with Deaf culture. Facilitated by hearing folks (with a connection to a professional interpreter) using Deaf-created content. People of all ASL skill levels are welcome! As we learn, we hope to connect more with the Deaf community in Central Ohio. Join us as you're able! Come regularly or just once - whatever you're looking for! Each meetup will explore different topics related to ASL/Deaf culture, and will feature time to practice conversation with one another. Just bring yourself and a willingness to learn!

Why are we unhappy? Where does emotional pain come from? Studies show that people who suffer from long-term emotional pain have painful experiences in their lives that were never fully resolved in their mind. In other words, there were issues in the past that were not completely dealt with. This can include abuse in childhood, breakups, divorce, death of a loved one, to name a few. How do you know whether you have gotten over something painful? Here is an easy test: Do you still have attention on what had happened to you? For instance, do you still find yourself thinking about something painful that you went through? If you are, then you are not over it. In fact, in severe cases, people find themselves playing a "tape" in their mind over and over again. So how do you heal from your past? How do you stop the "tape" playing in your mind?
