Llega poco a poco la muy esperada primavera con sus alergias y actuaciones hormonales… Existe un fantástico rincón en la cara norte del Cadí que se llena cada abril del así llamado azafrán de primavera, para crear junto con las escarpadas murallas de la sierra una de las postales más gloriosas de toda la Cerdanya. Este increíble prado situado a 1.826 m de altitud es el testimonio de una herencia glaciar que dejó atrás un cúmulo de sedimentos propicios para la biodiversidad. Iremos a descubrir el Prat de Cadí espaldado por un espectacular anfiteatro mineral y sus cimas: Costa Cabirolera, la Roca Verda, el canal de Cristall, la roca del Ordiguer… Después del diálogo con la inmensidad, hay la opcion de ir a conocer una formatgeria de montaña, sus cabras y descubrir cómo es la vida en una granja a 1600 metros de altitud. Y, por supuesto, lo mejor para el final: una mini cata de quesos que sabe aún mejor después de la aventura. Jammy and hedonistic are common descriptions Each person should bring one bottle of an quality Zinfandel wine; be creative and quality conscious, with some bottle age if possible. Turley, Martinelli, Biale, Seghesio, Ridge, Hartford Bedrock, Carlisle, Klinker Brick, Frog's Leap, and anything from the Rockpile vineyard is likely to be very good to great. The Prisoner wines began as a Zinfandel blend. Also bring a protein based appetizer to share and **a wine glass for your personal use.** Cheese and meats are best with these wines. There will be a gas grill behind the clubhouse to grill. We’ll gather at the Oak Creek clubhouse, where the Dublin Wine Group, hosted by Thom and supported by Timothy, will take it from there.
