KCZ Tuesday Training - Schauenberg
Korfball is a dynamic, no contact, mixed gender team sport. It pulls together aspects of netball, handball and basketball to form an unique and inclusive game.
We will do some exercises, practice, play some games and have fun! :)
Everyone is welcome to training, no experience required.
Don't be misled by the low sign ups, our regulars don't use
meet-up. We are usually 6-10 people.

And the best part is...it's fun and challenging at every level.
It is Rock climbing without the ropes, but with lower heights and nice \*soft mats\* to break your fall. :)
At Boulderlounge Schlieren we have many routes and skilled staff.
We are usually a group of 10-15. And we usually meet at 19:00 at the entrance of Boulderlouge. Some come earlier and some later, but either way write in the chat (see below) and someone will be there to find you and welcome you! Be looking for Ana or Marco.
Entrance Price: 23 CHF
Shoe rental: 7chf (in case you do not have)
At the end of the session we sometimes have a drink and hangout with the group. The gym has food, snacks and drinks.

Trail-Maniacs Luzern - Magic Thursday
In einer coolen Gruppe immer wieder neue Trails entdecken und die jeweils spektakuläre Aussicht auf die Leuchtstadt Luzern aus den unterschiedlichsten Perspektiven geniessen.
Unsere Tour startet jeweils am **Donnerstag** um **18.30 Uhr**. Der jeweilige Treffpunkt wird ein paar Tage vorher im WhatsApp-Chat und die App "Klubraum" bekanntgegeben. In 90-120 Minuten versuchen wir mit einem Maximum an Fun die jeweiligen 500 – 1’000 Höhenmeter zu bewältigen. Das gemeinsame Erlebnis steht ganz klar im Vordergrund. Dennoch kommen auch die „Schnelleren“ auf ihre Kosten und werden auf Extraschlaufen „gejagt“.

Bitte jeweils **gute Trailrunningschuhe** mit genügend Grip anziehen. Vom Herbst bis Frühling die **Stirnlampe** nicht vergessen! Im Winter bzw. der Übergangszeit gehören zudem **Spikes** mit ins Gepäck!

*We rock the flowing trails at the foot of Mount Pilatus in the area between Renggpass and Eigenthal in a cool group. In between we also explore the trails on the Dietschi- and Sonnenberg, the Gütsch-, Biregg- and Meggerwald.*
Friday Badminton for higher intermediate/advanced level
We are currently playing in a regular group of 12 players at higher intermediate/advanced level. Your registrations here will first be on the waiting list and when confirmed, payment is to be made by twint to secure your spot for participation.
There is a charge of Chf 22 per person. That is inclusive of feather shuttles.

It would probably be a good idea to meet up before deciding to travel together but at least this will give you a chance to find a like-minded travel mate.
How to Choose the Right Travel-mate?
Have some common interests.
Avoid people who tend to extremes.
Agree on expenditures before you leave.
Make sure your personalities
Friends aren’t always good travel companions
Don’t go backpacking with a luxury-seeker
Make sure you’re able to communicate
Agree on a similar budget
Avoid picky, crazy and whiny individuals
Test each other on a short trip
You don’t have to be like a couple of inseparable lovebirds

ZH3 Hash # 1719: Taproom Taper Time
Hare is Keys to the Treasure.
Since Zurich Marathon weekend is approaching, this'll be an easy and short trail with a focus on fluid replenishment :)
**Where**:
Brauerei Oerlikon, in Oerlikon.
Look for English speakers wearing running gear.
**When:**
We'll meet at 6:50 pm to start at 7:00 pm.
There's a charge of CHF 5 for participating, which covers all you can drink beer/cider (and non-alcoholic alternatives) plus snacks afterwards.
**All Welcome:**
If you are new, curious, and want to get out of the house, stretch your legs, talk shit, enjoy a drink, and hopefully a laugh, then here's what you need to know:
• We are a social running/walking group, physical fitness is not required, but a sense of humour is useful.
• The aim is to find the '*Beer Stop*' at the end of the '*trail*' and have fun.
• 'True Trail' is typically 4-7 km. Some will go less (especially those walking or walk/running), and some over-achieving fast runners will go further.
• The '*Hare*', which changes each event (along with location), cleverly lays the trail (typically with flour marks) so that everyone reaches the end at the same time.
• There is always a place to deposit your bag and sometimes a place to change.
• **After Trail**, we group for \~20-40 minutes for drinks, snacks, and some fun. This '*Circle*' is typically outside, so leave something warm in your bag in winter (and bring a flashlight when it's dark). If you don't want to stand around drinking afterwards, you can head home. We occasionally all go to a restaurant afterwards.
**Why bother leaving your warm & dry sofa?**
If you enjoy getting outside, being around people, and doing something a bit different, you will probably enjoy hashing. Exercise is important, and this is probably the least boring way to get it.
'Hashing' and the idea of some physical activity to work up a thirst, have been around for almost 90 years and there are groups (*Hashes*) in most major cities. Its humor and 'traditions' can be explored on the internet - **or you can just come along and find out.** *See you there.*
We are of many nationalities, all ages, full of misfits and idiots (at least there is no one taking themselves seriously!) and always welcome newbies 'Virgin Hashers' and visitors from other groups.

Sharon Woods HIKE
Hi ladies. Let's hike the Edward Thomas, Spring Creek, and a little multi-purpose trail - approximately 4 miles.
Please bring a water bottle as needed and appropriate shoes. Meet in the Maple Grove Picnic area.
Hike Seymour Woods State Nature Preserve
**We will hike about 1.5 miles on a loop then reverse to get about 3 miles. The trail is flat but there are some roots etc. protruding so I’ll be using poles. There is an old homestead there that is interesting. I always feel as though this preserve reeks of peace and tranquility. We will hike at a pace of 3 to 3.5 mph (but you’re free to go faster if you’d like!)**
**Optional lunch after if there is an interest.**
**There is limited parking at the site so we will meet at Sam’s Bar (one mile south of Seymour) and carpool from there. Plan on departing from Sam’s at 10 am.**
Brookside at Blendon Woods should
Join us for a two mile trail hike alongside the Brookside Trail at Blendon Woods Metro Park. This trail is largely gravel and does include some hills and stairs. Hopefully we will see some wildlife while hike this scenic trail! Join us!
