The monthly Zen meditation retreat at Lambda Zen Temple is a three day meditation retreat, where we reexamine the true self through a very simple hermitagelike life-style. Easy Panorama Hike (1 h 45 min) from Vögelinsegg to Teufen! We will meet at Vögelinsegg Station near Speicher (train from SG arrives at 10:11) and walk the panorama way to Teufen. In the middle of the way there is a restaurant called Waldegg and we can decide as a group to take a break or walk on. At the restaurant the learning path from the A. Vogel medicinal plants starts and ends at the garden where those who want can go see the plants and the others can walk 15 min to the train station of Teufen. The event is free! It would be good to bring water and sun protection. See you!

Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens Free Communal Garden Class Series GROWING MUSHROOMS In this class, we will discuss how to raise mushrooms on logs outdoors as a way to raise food in parts of your yard that are usually too shady to grow vegetables or other crops. We will discuss what mushroom species can be cultivated, what tree species they can grow on, and demonstrate how to prepare and inoculate the logs. By following these steps, you can have your own bountiful mushroom harvest! Jammy and hedonistic are common descriptions Each person should bring one bottle of an quality Zinfandel wine; be creative and quality conscious, with some bottle age if possible. Turley, Martinelli, Biale, Seghesio, Ridge, Hartford Bedrock, Carlisle, Klinker Brick, Frog's Leap, and anything from the Rockpile vineyard is likely to be very good to great. The Prisoner wines began as a Zinfandel blend. Also bring a protein based appetizer to share and **a wine glass for your personal use.** Cheese and meats are best with these wines. There will be a gas grill behind the clubhouse to grill. We’ll gather at the Oak Creek clubhouse, where the Dublin Wine Group, hosted by Thom and supported by Timothy, will take it from there.
