Doncs, segur que recordeu **aquells ulls verds magnètics**, plens de por i de dignitat, que van donar la volta al món des de la portada de National Geographic l’any 1985. Era la imatge de la **Sharbat Gula**, una nena en un camp de refugiats al Pakistan que es va convertir, sense saber-ho, **en el símbol universal del drama del poble afganès**. Aquella fotografia no va ser fruit de l’atzar, sinó del talent de **Steve McCurry**, un dels grans mestres de la fotografia contemporània. McCurry no és només un fotògraf de guerra o un reporter; és **un col·leccionista d’ànimes que ha passat més de quatre dècades viatjant pels set continents**, capturant la bellesa enmig del conflicte i la resiliència enmig de la pobresa. La propuesta de esta actividad es ir a participar en una visita comentada a la exposición *Chez Matisse* que se celebra en CaixaForum. La muestra presenta una amplia selección de obras procedentes en su mayoría del Centro Pompidou de París, donde las piezas de Matisse dialogan con las de otros artistas contemporáneos y pintores a los que el artista influyó. This is a group for like minded people interested in understanding, leveraging, using, creating for, profiting from, trading too i suppose, NFT's.. everything around them, complexity, fear and exploits, best practices and more. **PLUS** This group will talk AI ART tools, techniques, artists, video, audio, prototypes and more in the AI assisted production space- ART specifically, but we can get into any aspect of some of the cooler things happening in AI in general.

We will once again be teaching origami to the public at the Greater Columbus Arts Festival this coming weekend (Fri June 12th-Sun June 14th). We have a 10’x20’ tent and usually teach several hundred adults and children. ***Come join us if you are local*** \- reply to this email and let us know your availability\. **We are teaching SIMPLE, beginner models, so your skill level is not an issue.** Festival hours are: Fri 11 AM-9 PM, Sat 10 AM to 9 PM, Sun 10 AM to 5 PM, then we pack up. You are not expected to be there all day - whatever hours you want to teach are fine. We (Monica and I) will be there pretty much all hours as we are required to have the tent manned. If you want to assist with set up that is Thursday the 11th Noon to 2:30 We are in booth W728, which is on Washington Ave , between Rich and Main street bridges. This is the west side of the river in downtown.
