As part of Dublin Tech Week you are invited to a special edition of Dublin Dataviz! Instead of our usual speaker events, this evening will be a data visualisation workshop - a chance to get your hands dirty and get visualising some Irish data! No prior experience of any data visualisation software or coding is required. As places for this workshop are limited, we are charging a small fee of €5 to secure your spot - this will all be spent on pizzas on the night. Join us for what will be a great evening - with the inevitable pints in Arthur's bar afterwards.

This will be our first meeting. The idea is, for a peer support group. To talk about improving our ongoing health issues. Such as. Diabetes Type 1&2. Heart Health/Attack . Blood Pressure. Cholesterol. Preventing And Recovering from Stroke/s. And general well-being. There doesn't seem to be a place to have a coffee and a chat, with other people that have been through a significant event. In particular dealing with Chronic Pain from certain conditions. So the idea is just to have a suportive coffee chat, to talk about what it's like to have a lived experience and dealing with different types of difacult health issues. If the group takes off we will definitely do more of them. It'll be be nice to sit down and have a chat with other people who have been through similar stuff. To maybe support each other, and to help each other with the isolation that sometimes people can feel, that unless you've been through it, it's hard to understand. As the group progresses we will try and adapt to what comes up. And occasionally asked professionals to give advice on various help topics. As long as they're free or at the very least very-low and affordable cost. I personally myself I'm paying a small fortune in the chemist. They wouldn't give me a medical card. For having Diabetes. Just a long-term illness card.

Let's spend a summer afternoon exploring the area around the River Liffey and Grand Canal Dock. We'll meet at **Mayor Square** at **15:00**, outside Cool Hand, where we can grab a coffee before we set off. After taking some time around the square and the north side of the Liffey, we'll cross either the Sean O'Casey or Samuel Beckett bridge, and walk along the south of the river. Our end goal is to get to Grand Canal Square, which should provide an excellent opportunity for urban landscapes and architecture photography. Sharon Woods Metro Park, 6911 Cleveland Ave, Westerville, OH 43081 Enter the park from Cleveland Avenue and stay on the main park drive until it dead-ends into a turn around parking lot. We will meet at the Schrock Lake Shelter just off this parking area to the right. We will be taking a Guided Walk with access very near the shelter, on the Edward S Thomas trail, an ADA flat, hard-packed gravel surface trail. This walk will be led by Carrie Keller, Outdoor Naturalist at the park, and Megan Richley, Inclusion Coordinator for the Metro Parks. Wear sneakers or other shoes covering the entire foot. Sandals or flip-flops are ill advised. Sighted guides will be available. Target audience for this group is persons who are visually impaired, especially those who have experienced recent loss, however, all are welcome, including family members and supports. Light refreshments will be served. There will not be a Conference Call option for this meeting.

Welcome to Casual Boardgames, where we enjoy classic tabletop games and social deduction games while bonding over good food, drinks, and great conversations. 
We started this group to meet new people and make new friends, and bonding over games in a relaxed atmosphere is a great way to do that. We currently meet near route 23 and Polaris Parkway, and this is close to areas like Powell, Lewis Center, Worthington, and parts of Westerville and Columbus. 
Feel free to bring your own games or play one of the many games our members bring. If you are inexperienced, we will help you learn. 
Here are just a few examples of the kind of games we play. 
Tabletop/board games: Splendor, Catan, Azul, Dominion, 7 Wonders… 
Social deduction games: Code Names, Chameleon, Werewords… 
IMPORTANT: 
1. While we love playing a variety of games and competing, we are not just about the games. We interact and talk while playing, and this leads to a lot of laughter and fun. If you just want to compete and focus solely on the game, then this is probably not the group you are looking for. 
2. Many people join groups like this and never (or rarely) show up after weeks or months. If you join and never really come, we will eventually remove you from the group as a courtesy to our members. Why? Because limiting group conversations (on the app) to regular members makes communication and planning much easier. Also, while it may be rare, it protects members from people who join because they are interested in following a person instead of having a real interest in our group. If you get removed, it is just because you haven’t come, and we follow this protocol as a courtesy to our regular game players.
