The evening consists of a 50 minute booster draft. After that, you will be paired up and play 3 rounds of Swiss and prizing is distributed to players with a positive record. To participate in the event, alongside your **ticket purchase [here](https://www.thebrotherhoodgames.co.uk/magic-the-gathering-events)**, you will be asked to register on the Magic Companion app. We use this app for our tournament. If you are unfamiliar, please ask our member of staff upon arrival to the store where a member of staff will be happy to assist. **How to draft**: First, players sit around a table in a semi-circle. Each player then opens a booster pack and picks a single card without showing the other players. Each player then passes the remaining cards to the left, and continues drafting from the new cards they get from the player on their right. This continues until all of the cards in those packs have been distributed (drafted). Then each player opens a second pack, but this time, pass the pack to the right. After all those cards are drafted, you do the same with the third pack, passing to the left again. At the end, each player will have about 45 cards (along with any number of basic lands) which they can use to build a 40 card deck. Welcome to *My Kind of Meeples*! Feel free to RSVP and join us for an evening of board gaming fun. Arrive from **6:30pm** for a relaxed chat and a chance to get to know everyone. If you’re new, please introduce yourself to one of the hosts — they’ll be happy to welcome you and help you settle in. At **7:00pm**, we’ll begin with our first game, selecting games for the night. Anyone who has brought games with them is invited to offer them up with a brief overview and an indication of the difficulty level. You’re free to join any game that interests you, and we’ll make sure everyone has something to play. If a game is new to you, it will always be taught beforehand, with a quick refresher for returning players if needed. We play a wide range of games, typically lasting between **1 and 3 hours**. Multiple games run at the same time, and there’s usually at least one beginner-friendly option as well as a more advanced game available each evening. The night usually runs until closing time (around **11:00pm**), and depending on the games you choose, you may even fit in more than one game. Join our weekly Walthamstow Meetups and play some games with us! **💜Everybody Welcome:** We meet up every week to play a bunch of modern board games, card games and party games in pubs. **Join us for our monthly Boarding Actions (BACts) Club Night!** Whether you are a new BACts player, or an experienced member of the group, this is the night for you. BACts Club Nights will provide a venue for introductory games against experienced players, for Roulette Games, for pick-up games, and for us all to try new rules. This club night will provide an opportunity to playtest your Boarding Patrol and/or Crucible Character for the 1-day event on the 25th of April! This version of 40k is heavily dependent on terrain, and only one set is available at the venue. Hence, the success of club nights will depend on BACts players bringing their terrain. If you do not have terrain, we will try and match you with players that do. **Cancellations** If you can't make it, please contact your event host asap. A protagonist (the person whose chart is being explored) or the group chooses a focus (e.g., a specific transit, a relationship dynamic, or the whole natal chart). 1. Participants are assigned roles- e.g., one person is Mars in Scorpio in the 7th house, another is the Moon in Cancer, etc. 1. They improvise interactions - Planets “talk” to each other, move around a space (sometimes laid out like a horoscope wheel), express emotions, and create scenes. 1. The protagonist watches, directs, or joins in- often gaining powerful insights into their inner dynamics as they see their chart “performed.” 1. Debrief - Everyone shares what they felt in their role, revealing hidden patterns or unconscious material.

The Forge does have a full bar and kitchen. There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~$20 per person. Soft drink refills are $1 each.
