We are meeting on ZOOM! Meetings are still formatted to allow 15 minutes of sharing, one hour of writing, and a 15-minute wrap-up chat at the end. We are currently offering writing sessions online Wednesdays from 6 to 7:30 PM and Sundays from 1:30 to 3 PM. • What we'll do: We'll be meeting for an hour and a half to write our own personal projects, starting and ending with 15-minute discussions. • What to have with you: Pen, notebook, laptop, whatever suits your fancy! **Note: We sometimes have to change the Zoom URL right before the meeting starts--please double-check the Zoom link on the Meetup.com event to make sure you have the right one!**

Yoga mit Nina Bettermann Sonntags 17 Uhr — 18:30 Uhr 90 Minuten intensive, ausgiebige Asana-Praxis mit wechselndem Schwerpunkt sowie Meditation stehen immer auf dem Programm. Unterrichtet wird die Stunde von Jivamuktilehrerin Nina Bettermann. Unterrichtssprache ist Deutsch - English if required!! Nina Bettermann Nina ist 800-Stunden zertifizierte Jivamukti-Lehrerin. 2005 besuchte sie ihre erste Yogastunde. Was anfangs als Ausgleich zum stressigen Studium gedacht war, wurde schnell zur unverzichtbaren täglichen Praxis. Nachdem sie verschiedene Yogastile ausprobiert hatte, fand sie schließlich im Jivamukti Yoga ihr Zuhause. Daher entschloss sie sich im Winter 2010, nach dem Abschluss ihres Pharmaziestudiums, das Jivamukti Yoga Teacher Training mit Sharon Gannon, David Life Patrick Broome und Yogeswari zu absolvieren. 2014 folgte das 800hrs-Apprenticeship bei ihrer Mentorin Vera. Seitdem unterrichtet Nina, neben ihrer Tätigkeit als Apothekerin, in mehreren Berliner Yogastudios. Dabei ist ihr aber die eigene tägliche Praxis weiterhin heilig. Over time I'm hoping to organize a hike to all the Franklin County Metro Parks. This is the first one so if you're interested jump in! We'll start with the Canopy Walk, a cool feature of this park. Climb 100 stairs to the top - or take the elevator if stairs aren't your thing. At the top there are a bunch of things to play on - a rope bridge, a fireman pole that we can slide down - and more! About fifteen minutes there and we'll head to the natural trail, Buttonbush, Maple and Beech Trail for 2.2 miles then do a 1.7 mile loop on the paved Greenway Trail. We'll be passing our cars as we transition if you only want to do the first loop, or the second loop. Pace of around 3.5 mph but no one left behind. If there is an interest we can grab lunch nearby afterward.

We'll hike 3.4 miles on the Killdeer and Yellowlegs Trails - both out and back gravel trails. If we want more mileage we can repeat an out and back. Pace of around 3.5 mph, no one left behind and those who want to go faster sure can! As always optional lunch after. This is the second Metro Park in the lineup for me - with 21 to go (plus more are being added).
